Breaching Charge

Beskrivning
Description:
This weapon can plant multiple explosives on any surface.
This includes: Vehicles, Players, NPCs, Props, Doors, etc.
Not only does it open traditional doors, but also fading doors as well. The detonator is also not specific to the person who plants it. So if you choose to you could plant the explosives and hand the detonator to someone else. If you do not plant near a door, it will act as a traditional explosive, allowing for dual purpose.

Features:
  • Works with any gamemode.
  • You can place traps on weapons.
  • You can stack explosives.
  • Just download it already.
Recent Updates!:
If you are updating the addon make sure to do the following.
  1. Un-install the addon.
  2. Run the command "menu_cleanupgmas" in console.
  3. Re-install the addon and restart the game.

  • THE RECENT PATCH ISSUE/ERROR HAS BEEN RESOLVED.
  • Added the option for doors to be busted down.
  • Added the option for props to be unfrozen.
  • Added the option to change what surfaces you are allow to plant onto.
  • Fixed console commands.
  • Reloading in singleplayer will now warn the player that you cannot drop the detonator. It will also remove itself if the player has no ammo.
  • If some player models do not work you can negate this with the new console command.

Info/Use:
  • Primary fire to detonate.
  • Secondary fire to plant.
  • Reload to drop detonator. (multiplayer only)
  • You can acquire more ammo from the entities menu under "Sevan's Ammo."
Console Commands:
sv_breachingcharge_startingammo (number)(default is 3)
sv_breachingcharge_enabledoorbust (number)(default is 0)
sv_breachingcharge_enablepropunfreeze (number)(default is 0)
sv_breachingcharge_debughands (number)(default is 0)
sv_breachingcharge_canplace (number)(default is 0)
  • 0 = Can place anywhere.
  • 1 = Can't place on players.
  • 2 = Can only place onto the world and doors.
  • 3 = Can only place onto doors.

Is there a way to make the breach charges not do damage to players? Was thinking trying to make a SMALL controlled explosion more akin to breaking the lock or just tearing the door down alone without being semi nuked for stacking up against doors.

Great work here Sevan, these are the ideal breaching charges for gmod, the ones included in the newer ARC9 GSR weapon pack don't even compare. This one has more features and is safer for the end user with no crashes and it doesn't kill the user unlike the GSR ones.

So thank you for keeping these around, they will provide useful in my realism films.

Haven't touched gmod in years but if you look at the weapon's lua files there is likely a timer being set somewhere. You could either change that time value or expose the value as a console command.

I'm wondering if there is a way of altering the time the door disappears for? As at moment it isn't very long and often reappears while still doing what we need to do. many Thanks.

ARC9's GSR weapon pack has a breaching charge that was seemingly better, but it tends to crash the game and also damages the player and teammates.

Think I'm gonna come back to this one.

i have a little problem, when i instal the addon, it saids error on the weapon, do i need something else to see it normaly or?
