please open the rar file and drop the mod 'mod_fots_proper_languages.pack' into the Data folder in the shogun 2 install location. i have provided my install path here, basically wherever you have steam installed follow from there.

D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War SHOGUN 2\data

^ place mod in here and enjoy having the Japanese speak actual Japanese in FOTS
