Introduction
As there are a lot of different silencers I tried to find any information regarding how many bullets you can fire with a certain suppressor. Searching for this in the steam guide section I could not find anything. After some quick testing and reviewing those results I came up with a theory which allows you to calculate the number of bullets you can fire with each weapon, depending on the rarity and the durabilty of the suppressor attached to the chosen weapon.
Theory & test method
After playing for a while and having read that most weapons have a different amount of bullets which can be fired with the same suppressor I had a hunch that this had to do with the mag size of the weapon. I started to test this theory by testing the TKA 800C and SG36 with the same grade and durability suppressor (high-end low profile suppressor). The results were as following:

Weapon Grade Durability Mag size Mag mod N.o shots
TKA 800C Epic Low 30 None 57
SG36 Epic Low 35 None 67

This showed a promising result in terms of a multiplier per mag size (as 57/30=1,9 and 67/35=1,9rounded). To further test this theory I performed the same test with a Stryk 88 equiped with a high-end Borealis suppressor. This test showed me that there was no difference in modifier per gun type, but just per silencer.

This left me with one more question, does a short mag or high cap mag allow for more shots per weapon? To test this I took the TKA 800C for another spin with a short mag. However, the result did not change and I was also allowed to pull off 57 shots on the same high-end low profile suppressor.

To find out how the multipliers worked I tested with some more suppressors of different grades and durability. However, as my vault space is not that big I am lacking some data. I will try to collect the suppressor data as soon as possible and update this guide with the extra data gathered.

Generally all the suppressors increase with 20% per step in comparison to the common grade version. E.g. rare high dura = 1,4*common high dura multiplier. Although this appears to be the system the developers used to caclulate these values, it also appears to be hard coded in the game rather than generated by the game with this value. This may cause some wierd 'roundings' in the actual gameplay vs the calculation.

Conclusion
Okey, so you skipped all the bs above and directly came to the conclusions! How does it all work? The number of bullets which you can fire with a suppressor on is based on the mag size of the gun and the type of suppressor. For example a deagle with only 7 bullets can fire 2x less bullets then the m9 with the same suppressor. To determine the exact amount of bullets which you can fire you can use the following formula:
[default mag size of weapon] * [suppressor multiplier]

The suppressor multiplier is based on which suppressor you use. You can find these values in the table below. Note that the values which have a * behind it are unconfirmed and only calculated by me based on the results of lower or higher tiers which I could gather.... Vault size and RNG and all....

Rating \ Durability
Low
Medium
High
Common
1.15* (only 1 test run)
1.55
2
Uncommon
1.4* (calculated)
1.85* (calculated)
2.4
Rare
1.65
2.1
2.8
High-end
1.9
2.5* (calculated)
3.15* (only 1 test run)
NOTE: I have found that the FT-9 seems bugged and behaves like it has 37ish bullets in the mag. I have not found any other deviations from the table above as of yet.

Looking at these resuts i came up with the following tips:
  • high-end low durability silencers are worse than common high durability in terms of durability
  • high durabilty silencers last longer than medium durability silencer of a tier directly above
  • I prefer large mag size weapons, as these can prolong your silencer, and somehow also seem to have better stats in most regards. However, this depends very much on your own playstyle and preference.
