Title: Into The Capital

Scenario Type: Standard

Route: GEML London to Ipswich

Scenario Brief:

Just stopping at Ipswich for the routine schedule of 1P49 from Norwich to London Liverpool Street, you are to finish off the rest of the service calling at Manningtree, Colchester and London Liverpool Street. However with miserable weather conditions in this spring afternoon you best look out for the inevitable.

Requirements:

GEML London to Ipswich
Class 90
Class 66 Freightliner V2.0

Difficulty & Time:

Hard - 75 Minutes

(Apr/2022). Ran very well with no problems. Plenty of yellows to keep you interested.

Excellent scenario thanks ... the weather gave this a lot of atmosphere and having to chase the yellows was great fun. Loads of AI too ,,, just brilliant!

Really nice scenario - particularly liked that the timings were acheivable whilst driving "properly". Nothing worse than a scenario where you have to drive at speed limit +0.9 and then slam the train into the platform to stick to the timetable. Great stuff and highly recomended. Many thanks for creating and sharing, Bruce.
PS. That signal at Maryland, wow - invisible until you are about 3 feet away.

Well, I have to be honest, I'm glad that's over. Extremely challenging given all the adverse signals approaching Liverpool Street, and while I made a few mistakes, standard scenarios are very forgiving. If you like a challenge, then this is the one for you,
