I have now written it off as something that just has no appeal for me whatsoever.
I got a demo of Half Life with a PC magazine and I had to pick my jaw up off the ground. Again I love Half Life....I’m just saying Half Life 2 is better. The new and improved enemies, the world around you was much richer and more real. The city was such a depressing intergalactic checkpoint. You really feel like a prisoner of your own world and then bam....you get to bring the whole lot down like a boss. The guns are great, the gravity gun is a welcome addition, the puzzle solving is top notch, there are vehicles to drive, the voice acting is great. It’s just impossible for me to take the first one over this masterpiece.
