Don't like this series at all. Personally I think Kojima is a complete hack.

I'm in the minority when I say I didn't play MGS1 all the way through. MGS2 was the MGS game that got me hooked. My all-time favorite will always be MGS3, though.

Metal Gear Solid 2

There was a lot of hype for this game. I went in relatively blind having never touched the series and I loved it. Having that comms link for some reason made the whole thing more believable. I am not much of a stealth player but taking down bad guys using your wits alone was very satisfying. Despite me not really being a stealth guy, this game had storyline in spades and had an awesome cast of weird almost Hellraiser-ish bad guys. What a game.
