Pyramid Head. That’s all.
Kidding. Silent Hill 2 was a masterpiece in horror. Equal parts terrifying and just plain bizarre, you wander around abandoned streets and houses and flick between two types of worlds. The real (?) and The Upside Down. The enemies were not just your stock zombies and classic horror. No no no. They were more straight out of some kind of Clive Barker novel or a David Cronenberg movie. There was an extra level of fear that this game injected through not being scary but deeply uncomfortable.
