Sadly, I never had the opportunity to play System Shock 2. And I LOVE the Dead Space universe. Like you said, it hasn't aged well, even with the graphical overhaul. I'm still going to give it a try.

Wow. SS1 and SS2 both scared the hell out of me. All this weird noises and stuff. But they were great in their times.

Again this is one that hasn't aged well but I played it again a few years ago and it held up really well. the nostalgia glasses were off and as a game it works great.

System shock 2 landed quite a bit before its time. A sci-fi RPG FPS stealth survival horror? That’s quite the mouthful. Not only does it have a quality story and that old school swear inducing difficulty but it has a killer soundtrack. Even though it has aged poorly graphics wise it is still an immensely fun and playable title. Just be sure to plan ahead. Trust me.
