Kuvaus
This mod alters the Revivification Crystal ability on the Bastiladon (Revivification Crystal) unit for Lizardmen.

In campaign I found the Revivification Crystal ability to be a little underwhelming. It had a very long cooldown and didn't feel like it healed all that much. Rather than tweaking the values for the current ability I decided I'd rather see it work more like the Vampire Counts' Corpse Cart (Unholy Lodestone) / Mortis Engine and provide a constant regeneration aura around the Bastiladon (Revivification Crystal) unit.

Despite the current heal not feeling like it does much simply turning it as is into an aura was way too strong. I tweaked the heal values to something more reasonable, specifically they are the same as the The Hunger ability that vampire lords / heroes have.

Before
  • Active Ability
  • Affects 1 unit
  • 7 uses
  • Lasts 26 seconds
  • 60 second cooldown
  • Heals 12 hp every 0.5 seconds (24hp/sec) (624hp per cast)

After
  • Active Ability
  • Affects units in a 40 meter radius, ground targetable
  • Lasts 26 seconds
  • 60 second cooldown
  • Heals 12 hp every 0.5 seconds (24hp/sec) (624hp per cast)
  • Passive Ability
  • Affects all friendly Lizardmen units within 40 meters
  • Heals 2 hp every 0.5 seconds (4hp/sec)
  • Restores 1% vigour every 3 seconds (for comparison's sake being in combat drains 2% vigour every 3 seconds

Note that, like other regeneration abilities that resurrect dead models, this ability will heal living models first, and will only resurrect models that died in the current battle. In other words if a unit starts a battle with missing models this will not resurrect the models that were missing at the beginning of the fight.

  • Save game compatible
  • Should not conflict with mods that don't alter the Revivification Crystal ability

Side Note
The Bastiladon (Revivification Crystal) unit gets absolutely wrecked in Auto Resolve. I highly recommend you install Zarkis's Better Auto Resolve which solves this issue.

Can confirm it still works. I'm using Kaedrin's Mod Manager. Passive ability works and shows radius when scrolled over.
