Full Achievements and Secrets [Spoilers Beware]
By Dravvad
This guide is meant to consolidate what the community has found in The Hex (since its release) into a single guide. The intention is for people to use this guide if they want to see steps towards a secret or achievement, or if they simply want to learn the whole process for some secret as they might not have enough time to dig around. I will update the guide and credit people as requested as I'm sure more updates will be needed in the future.

Preface and Spoiler Warning
The purpose of this guide is meant to consolidate various findings of the gaming community in The Hex since its release.

Some people might want some help on what the next step into a secret might be, and others might want to just see every detail, without searching around the forums. I am writing this up for such reasons, along with the fact that it is simply nice for the community to have their work grouped together.

SPOILER WARNING
I will still tag the majority of this guide to avoid people seeing everything and ruining what they don't want to find. I am intending to split up certain secrets and achievements into spoilerized steps so that someone can look at the next step and try again from there, or they can just look through each step all at once if they really wish.

I highly recommend, along with many other people, for you to play through the entire game blindly first, and then after you know the general details, you can use guide information as necessary.

COMMUNITY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I do not take the credit for finding all of this information (or anywhere near much of it). It is the collective work of many gamers who spent their time digging behind the scenes of this game and found little secrets in the nooks and crannies.

I am sure that I am missing details when I first write this up, and I am sure more stuff will still be missing after people feed me information.

Please give any feedback you have about this guide, as well as missing information and whether I have anything incorrect. Be sure that any comments you make about the guide, if publicly visible, are spoiler-tagged if you have any hidden information that could affect someone's gameplay.
Game Flow and Story Achievements
The Hex is a mixed-bag of different video game types thrown into one as a cohesive (yet confusing and bizarre) storyline involving 6 video game characters in an Inn where a possible murder is being reported.

The flow of The Hex is that you, as the player, take control of each of the 6 playable characters one-by-one and explore the Inn in a side-scrolling (semi-)point-and-click environment, while also triggering events that take you into the other various video game types.

The game begins inside of the Inn as you take control of the first character, and it is broken down into a cycle of the following:
  1. Navigate around the Inn looking for hidden information and following the Innkeeper's objective
  2. Play different video game sequences as events are triggered
  3. Take control of the next character and restart at Step 1

There are 7 story-based achievements, with only 1 of them being partially missable, but you can still start the game again near where it unlocks.

Childhood Ruined - Complete Super Weasel Kid's memory
Overdone - Complete Bryce's memory
Lousy Tenant - Complete Chandrelle's memory
Rocky Road - Complete Rust's memory
Pyrrhic Victory - Complete Lazarus' memory
That Was Lionel Snill - Complete ???'s memory

For the "missable" (but not really) one:
The Hex - Opened The Hex
  1. At some point during the Waste World section of Walk, you will be transported to meet the robed figure you've seen in most of the game.
  2. He will tell you to turn away from a door of light when you see it.
  3. When you are on the stage at the end of Walk, a door will appear and Lionel tells you to step through. Instead, turn around.
  4. If you head backstage, a rope barrier will glitch to your right. Follow it and you'll wind up at a computer and trigger the true ending of the game.
Notice About Chapter Select
When you complete the game, you unlock Chapter Select to restart the game at certain milestones. Take note that there are a few achievements that actually require you to go through multiple chapters and hit specific milestones in each one. Those achievements are listed in the following section, Multi-Chapter Achievements.

As far as I know, those achievements require you to complete them without utilizing Chapter Select, except for potentially a few minor parts of them, as the game automatically saves your changes throughout and will also carry through certain items when using Chapter Select (e.g., the quarters/coins in the Inn will still be missing if you picked some up and reload an earlier section).

If I am wrong about this piece, someone please let me know about the specific details. Thanks!
Multi-Chapter Achievements
Insert Coin - Crack a soda vending machine at The Six Pint
Ice Cold - Crack all the vending machines at The Six Pint

These two achievements involve opening the vending machines in the Inn as you explore between game chapters. There are three (3) vending machines, one per main floor. Each involves a set number of quarters to open entirely.

There are coins sitting in plain sight, wedged into tiny corners or on bookshelves or underneath objects, as well as locked up in areas that require mini-puzzles. Essentially, you should move every object possible and explore every available space in the Inn (as each character) as you progress in the game.

Note that there are actually quite a few more coins available to find than are actually necessary to open all of the machines.

Here, I will reference an already existing guide if you wish to learn some hidden places: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1543744307
Note that even though this other guide suggests completing it late in the game, I myself was able to open all 3 machines just before beginning the Waste World chapter.

I will try to update this section later on, but I would have to remove my save data and collect all of the coins again with screenshots.

Shrewd Awakening - Discovered the truth about Mr. Shrewd

There are 3 chapters involved in this achievement, and they are all in a row: Combat Arena, Secrets of Legendaria, and Waste World. Here are the steps in sequential order along with their corresponding chapter:

  1. In the Combat Arena chapter: Complete the fights until you see an enemy get glitched out of the game. Afterwards, Bryce will hit a training dummy and trigger a training sequence where you keep getting teleported to different enemies after landing a few hits. At some point, you will see Mr. Squarrel sticking out of the ground. Do NOT hit him. Instead, look at the right edge of the screen to see glasses on the ground. Click on them. Bryce will say something and the sequence will move on.
  2. In the Legendaria chapter: When you reach the small town center (with a statue of Chandrelle), you should see a shop at the top right building. Inside of it, you should see a pair of glasses on sale. Purchase the glasses, which will use an inventory slot. Then, after defeating the first boss, the mechanic should appear in the town center. Talk to her and she will say that she will fix the glasses for you. (The shop's inventory cycles a bit as you complete parts of this chapter, so see if the glasses are there during your first visit or the visit after the first boss. If the glasses don't appear, then you might not have clicked on them as Bryce.)
  3. In the Waste World chapter: The mechanic from Legendaria is the shopkeeper here, and if Chandrelle gave her the glasses, you should find them on sale here. Purchase the glasses. If they are in your inventory, you should see Rust wearing them. Then, proceed through Waste World pretty far and eventually you will wind up in Super Weasel Kid's world. A little bit further and you will find Mr. Squarrel. Click on Mr. Squarrel and a conversation about Mr. Shrewd should unveil and the achievement will unlock. Beware that if the glasses are not on Rust's face, then something else will happen.

Heheh - Free Vallamir

There is 1 game chapter, as well as exploring the Inn before and some time after that chapter, involved in this achievement:

  1. When you gain control of Rust in the Inn, do the following: Talk to Chandrelle and take her headlamp. Use the elevator to go into the basement and into the lab that she previously stuck Vallamir into. Talk to Vallamir and Rust will mention a hammer and a henchman of Vallamir talking to him in the past. Afterwards, proceed as normal with the objective but make sure that you leave the headlamp inside of the Inn. Do NOT take it outside with you. Note that it can be used to solve the hologram puzzle to get through the outer wall in the 3rd floor room, if you wish to leave it there.
  2. In the Waste World chapter: Progress until you first encounter the alien enemies and discussions of game mods. Move directly east all the way until you are at the bottom of the irradiated city with clouds all around it. Move to the circle tile at the very bottom edge of the clouds (this spot is 2 tiles below the next battle tile in the city). Look at the right edge of your screen and you should see a semi-hidden circle near the southeastern corner. Click on the tile and you will eventually reach a snake enemy with a hammer. He will give you the hammer. Afterwards, progress the game normally until the next step. Do NOT exit and use Chapter Select. Make sure you finish Waste World with the hammer or else the hammer won't appear later on.
  3. When you gain control of ??? (FPP) in the Inn, do the following: Head out the front door and immediately look to the left. If Rust got the hammer in Waste World and took it to the end, then it should be sitting outside the front door slightly behind an entrance column. Then, head back inside the Inn and go to wherever you last left the headlamp. Put it on and head to the basement, back into Chandrelle's lab. Talk to Vallamir and then click above on the glass to start hitting it until you break it open and Vallamir is set free with the achievement unlocked.
Super Weasel Kid
No Thanks, Mr. Shrewd! - Complete the original Super Weasel Kid without any help from Mr. Shrewd

When playing through Super Weasel Kid's memory, the very first game is one where you cannot really die. If you land on spikes, or fall out of bounds, etc., then Mr. Shrewd will somehow save you, whether by digging dirt over the spikes, or using a cannon to shoot you in the air, and so on.

To get this achievement, you have to make your way through both stages of the first game without actually getting into any scenario where Mr. Shrewd would have to protect you. That means - don't touch spikes, don't get hit by enemies, and don't fall out of bounds.

Doing so might involve some maneuvering. For instance, there are some parts where you need to jump high onto clouds or floating platforms in order to get over gaps of spikes.

Make your way through and the achievement will unlock if you avoided these "potential death" scenarios. If you mess it up, you can always come back later with the Chapter Select and redo this section as it is not too long.

The Full Truth - Learn the secrets from Catarina in Super Weasel Kid

For this achievement, you will need to find a hidden NPC In each of Super Weasel Kid's games, and collect coins for them the first two (2) times:
  1. SWK Original - In the very first stage, when you come across the first set of enemies, you should notice clouds above them. If you repeatedly jump high enough, you'll get onto a high cloud with a cat on a floating carpet. She requests 50 coins to tell you a secret. Navigate this first area and collect 50 coins, then return to her for the secret.
  2. SWK Radical Road - Again, in the first stage, make your way towards the very end (but do NOT enter the castle), and make sure you collect as many coins as possible along the way. Some are hidden high up in the sky. (Note that if you die, you have to backtrack and recollect coins.) Right at the castle exit, carefully perform a high jump onto the left/closest edge of the castle's roof. Be careful not to go too far to the right as you will fall into the castle through the hole in the roof and accidentally exit the level. If you land correctly on the castle's rim, you'll see a cloud above you. Jump up that way to find the cat again, requesting 50 coins for another secret.
  3. SWK '09 - Progress forward until you reach a bunch of clouds stacked closely on top of one another. You should see 3 clouds stacked, with a gap above it, and 3 more clouds stacked again. To the right of this should be a mountain with a face. Now carefully jump onto the bottom set without hitting the top set of clouds much. From there, you need to jump upwards into the top 3 clouds so that they slant upwards. There should be a glitchy hitbox around them so that you can jump onto the tallest one and propel yourself into a single cloud above all of this. Once up there, the cat will be floating here only if you collected the previous two (2) secrets. This time, she does not request any coins, and you will unlock the achievement after speaking.

ERROR 09 - Crashed Super Weasel Kid '09

In order to find out how to do this achievement yourself, try the following:
  1. Go play Walk (the last section of the game) and pay attention to the Super Weasel Kid part of that.
  2. If you need another hint there, then glance through the terms and conditions you must sign. Something might stand out there.
  3. And if you can't find what I'm talking about, then it is a section in the contract that says the new company is responsible for software maintenance and handling crashes, and that "tickling the chins of mountains" is not allowed.

Based on the above information, or if you still don't know what that means, to get the achievement:
  1. Load up Super Weasel Kid '09 (the third game in Super Weasel Kid's section).
  2. Progress until you see the sets of clouds stacked closely on each other and a mountain with a face right next to them.
  3. Take the mouse cursor and place it on the mountain's "chin" below the mouth, and move the cursor around a little bit in that spot.
Combat Arena
OK, now 1000! - Score a 1000 hit combo in Combat Arena X

As you progress through Combat Arena, you are given choices to upgrade or hinder Bryce's abilities at certain points. At some point (after Steambot Willy), you'll see a Combo Amplifier upgrade that says it might count his combos too high. Make sure you select that.

A little while later, you will get into fight with Sado, a creepy performer. At some point in that fight, you will literally be battling her giant hands. At this point, you have two options:
  1. Wail on the hands in a continuous combo, but make sure you don't get hit or you'll break the combo.
  2. Or let yourself get "killed" by the hands, and you'll end up fighting a heart temporarily. Wail on the heart to build your combo up until you're back fighting the hands; but the combo carries over so it should be closer to the 1000.

If you don't get the combo in this section, then you'll have to come back later to get it.

we ain't m8's - Score a true KO on Alley Gator in Combat Arena X

When fighting Alley Gator, the cursing creature, you'll see that he walks off screen after the 2nd defeat. However, there is a way to still knock him out.

If you want to try to figure this out yourself, then:
  1. Go play Walk (the last section of the game) and observe the office during the Combat Arena section.
  2. If you need some help, check the posters.
  3. To find exactly what I mean, look behind one of the posters of Bryce and see a Down arrow plus the letter B written on the blank side of the poster.

Using the above information:
  1. See what Down + B does in Combat Arena.
  2. It doesn't actually work in the middle of real fights.
  3. If you use it, Bryce slides on the ground and eventually will go off screen if you use it enough.
  4. From that, wait until Alley Gator goes off screen. Follow him with the Down + B move. Alley Gator will pop up with some text complaining, and if you give a punch, he'll get KO'd and the achievement unlocks.

ERROR 2X - Crashed Combat Arena X

Similar to the above achievement, you can also find in-game hints for this from the following:
  1. Go play Walk (the last section of the game) and observe the office during the Combat Arena section.
  2. If you need some help, check the posters.
  3. To find exactly what I mean, look behind one of the game posters closest to where you start (beside the projector screen).
  4. Behind one of those posters should be three little drawings: a traffic cone, a pair of people, and a computer window with the symbols </>
  5. The last symbol can be a reference to code (in programming), and the middle pair of people can be referenced as "friends", which in French is "ami."
  6. Trying to put them together verbally can be "cone ami code" or "Konami Code", which is a classic cheat code for older video games.
  7. If you somehow don't know the Konami Code: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konami_Code

From the above information:
  1. Return to Combat Arena and when you are free to move Bryce, perform the Konami Code.
  2. Take note that you have to use the Arrow Keys on your keyboard instead of letters (like WASD, etc.), and after you press the B & A buttons, the achievement will unlock.
Secrets of Legendaria
For 'Mir's Sake - Deal at least 500 damage in a single strike in Secrets of Legendaria

There are a few different ways to do this, but the quickest way (outside of directly manipulating game data) involves reaching the desert and finding a big shiny silver coin hidden in the top right near some trees. After collecting that, then:
  1. Proceed south of the town and look for a tiny pier on the right with a sign.
  2. If you have the coin, then you should be able to make your way from the pier to a little island with a fishing pole. Collect the pole and move to the pier on the right side of the island.
  3. Fish here until you collect a "Critty Tuna" and a "Fiery Flounder." Together they use 2 inventory slots, so you need some empty space.
  4. With that, start a battle somewhere, and make sure you don't kill all of the enemies. First, use the Critty Tuna on the strongest character, and then wait until they have their second turn and use the Fiery Flounder on that same character. Wait until it is their turn again and have them use their strongest attack and you should get 500 damage.
  5. As an extra hint, using these items for bonus power can make the last achievement in this section much easier.

Got To Catch Them All - Finding Missing No. in Secrets of Legendaria

This achievement is actually tied to the achievement below. If you want both achievements in the same playthrough, then complete that achievement first, and then this one. Otherwise, completing this one will void the other achievement until you restart the Legendaria section in Chapter Select or in a new game.

For this achievement:
  1. From the town center, head left into the dragon's cave. Inside there, head left again until you reach a screen with lava.
  2. Walk all the way up to the edge of the lava. Once there, walk up and down across the edge of the lava and the cave's ground, and quickly a battle should trigger.
  3. The battle should be with a graphically glitchy being, and you can defeat it in a single attack. Upon defeat, the achievement should unlock.
  4. Note that this achievement is a reference to Pokemon Red & Blue, the original Pokemon games. In those games, a certain island unintentionally caused a glitchy figure to appear as a Pokemon if you rode up and down the edge/coast of the water repeatedly.

ERROR 57 - Crashed Secrets of Legendaria

You can do this achievement at almost any point in Legendaria, except that the "Point of No Return" is after obtaining all 3 power orbs.

Take note that if you completed the achievement just above this on your current playthrough, then you cannot complete this achievement until you restart Legendaria after finishing the game.

For this achievement :
  1. From the town center, head left one screen, and then up through the fence to the next screen. There should be a big temple right there. Walk to the left side of the temple, and go around to the back. You should be able to walk around the back edge of the temple and walk downwards into a hidden entrance there.
  2. In this hidden entrance is a powerful enemy that can use Chandrelle's attack spells against you. You have to defeat this enemy, so if it is too strong you can come back later when you are leveled up, or if you have some power up potions. Note that the enemy can run out of Mana and then will only do weak attacks if you can outlast it.
  3. Upon defeat, the enemy will drop an item which shines on the ground. You need 1 empty inventory slot to pick it up. The item is a "Mimic Charm."
  4. Follow the steps for the achievement just above this ("Got To Catch Them All"), on how to reach Missing No., but do NOT kill the creature. In battle with Missing No., have Chandrelle use the Mimic Charm on Missing No. On her next turn, one of her attacks will be a bunch of letters, numbers, and symbols. Use that attack and the achievement will unlock.
Waste World
Beginning To Feel Like A Scrap God - Buy 10 upgrades from the Scrap Shop in Waste World

This achievement should not be that difficult. When you defeat enemies, you gain Scrap as a currency. Whenever the shops have an item that gives you extra Scrap per battle, buy that item as soon as possible before continuing into other battles. Try to fight every normal enemy on the maps before progressing into what looks like boss battles.

If you do not end up unlocking this before finishing Waste World, don't worry. If you use Chapter Select later on, the items in your inventory carry over, and I believe your Scrap does too. So you can purchase a few more items then.

M0RE_FRI#NDLY(C0NTENT) - Activate a gated mod in Waste World

As the description of this achievement implies, you simply need to get past the gate that is in the 2nd area of Waste World.

In order to do so, purchase the Ticket item from the shop(s) and then walk over to the gate and you can go through to a tile that transforms the world a bit and unlocks the achievement.

ERROR 33 - Crashed Waste World

If you want to try to figure this out yourself, then:
  1. Go play Walk (the last section of the game) and look around in the Waste World section.
  2. If you need a little more information, look around at the walls.
  3. And finally, the exact information, if you need it: look at the other side of the wall behind the TV.
  4. On the left side of that wall you should see some small writing of "C+SHFT" and a few letters and words saying "M mine", "K kill", "F friend."

From that information:
  1. Go back to Waste World and try to use those combinations in battle.
  2. For instance, if you hold SHIFT (try Left OR Right Shift if some combinations don't work) and C and then press M, you'll spawn mines on every tile. Similarly, if you highlight (hover your mouse over) a creature and use the K button, it will instantly kill them. And finally, if you use F, it will clone them.
  3. Progress until you reach the part where you are in control of Sado and your only option is to attack Rust. Instead of attacking Rust, hover over Sado and use SHIFT+C+F to clone Sado. Then, with Sado, attack the other clone, essentially having Sado kill herself while still being alive, and the achievement will unlock. If using Sado to attack the clone does not work, you can try the SHIFT+C+K shortcut to kill the clone. Note that you have to highlight the clone before pressing that shortcut. If neither of these options work, the game might currently be bugged/glitched. There are some user reports about this no longer working (as of December 29).
Vicious Galaxy
360 No Scope - Perform a 360 No Scope with the sniper rifle

Now, if you don't actually know what a 360 No Scope means, then it is a trick shot that got popularized with First Person Shooters and means to do a full circle spin and then shoot an enemy with the rifle without zooming in. Since it's a Sniper Rifle, it generally will kill the enemy.

To unlock this, progress from the beginning of this chapter until you head through the doorway on the right (from the main starting point) and pick up the Sniper Rifle from the ground. Use the gun to shoot the two switches to open the next doorway, but do not go through it yet.

On the other side is an enemy, and what you should do is aim at the enemy, quickly move your mouse cursor in a circle around yourself so that Lazarus spins, and then immediately click (don't hold) on the enemy and shoot them dead. The achievement should unlock here.

If you kill the enemy without it unlocking, then go to the title screen and reload the progress back to this screen, as this single enemy is usually the easiest place to attempt it.

What's Kraken - Wooed a Great Kraken

As your make your way through this chapter, you will eventually reach an area where you keep having to switch between the top-down shooting style and the 4-directional JPRG style like in Legendaria. In this section of the chapter, you will find a pirate ship in a room of water and sand.

In this room:
  1. Go to the bottom left area and make sure the transforming machine is on the small set of land there. Transform into the JRPG style and click on a little green blob in the water just above you.
  2. Transform back into the shooter style and look at the island to the right with the captain on it. Push the machine from the ship down onto that land and transform back into the JRPG format and click the green blob near there again.
  3. Transform back into the shooter style and push that same machine back onto the ship. Transform into the JRPG style yet again and click the tentacle to start a "battle."
  4. You will be in a bizarre love dating fight with the Kraken. Below its HP is a romance bar. Use "Spray 'N Pray" on it until the Romance bar reachs about 80, reloading as necessary. Do NOT use the "Hip Shot" from the start or else the romance bar will decrease. Only after the bar gets up to that point is when you can use "Hip Shot" and woo the Kraken for the achievement.
Walk
Master Mechanic - Help Rebecha survive the first wave in Walk

You will reach a Legendaria programming section where you have to help the mechanic get through a couple of battles.

In order to do so:
  1. Maximize the ".hitOne" and ".hitAll" buttons in the first attack, but connect ".hitOne" first and use that to kill the slime. During the slime fight, you have to create a Mana recovery spell, so maximize the Mana value and connect that and use it.
  2. After the slime is dead, you start another fight... But first you can create a Critical power-up attack. Connect the "CRIT BOOST" at 100%, then cast that once. Then go to edit your damage attack (don't use it) and change it to ".hitAll" (ensuring that the value there is maxed out). Doing that will kill the tentacles but leave the main creature alive. Change the attack back to ".hitOne" again, and cast it on the main creature until it dies.
  3. With that, the mechanic should still be alive and the achievement unlocks.

Card Captive - Receive 4 card readings from Catarina in Walk

You have to watch out for some digital tarot cards in this section that are hidden on the computers.

In particularly (and in sequential order):
  1. The Faceless - When you first arrive in the Combat Arena office, go up the right column of computers and click on the screen of one of the computers towards the middle of the room. It should be 1 or 2 computers before the lit-up blue monitor.
  2. The Janitor - In the Combat Arena office, it is on the computer to your left closest to the office door. If you stare at the office door, to the left of it should be a marker board, and in front of that is the computer.
  3. The Error - After you use the computer in Lionel's office for Combat Arena, the room should remake itself into a slightly different setting. Click on his computer again to find this card.
  4. The Oracle - After leaving Lionel's room, the office has changed into a party for Secrets of Legendaria. Keep a watch on the computers as you walk towards the projector screen. All of them should have their backs to you except for 1 monitor on the right, about 2 computers away from the projector screen. The card is on that one, and so is Catarina herself.
  5. The Inn - Eventually, you will be teleported to Vicious Galaxy in a First-Person Shooter style during Walk. Move against the left wall and you should find a hidden glitched opening that leads to another computer with this card.

In order to actually unlock the achievement, find the first 4 in that list above. When you reach the 4th one, The Oracle, you should see Catarina on the computer screen. If you have the first 3 by the time you get to the 4th one, you can have her read all 4 and the achievement unlocks

ERROR 3 - Crashed Walk

Progress through until you reach the pseudo-battle in the desert in the Waste World section (after you exit the incomplete house area).

In this section:
  1. Reach the computer and start editing the button for "SHOOT" damage.
  2. Keep increasing the "SHOOT" damage until it stops at a maximum of 1006. Then decrease the value until it hits 666 and the achievement will unlock.
Grand Finale (of Secrets)
As of right now, I am simply going to link to a forum post that summarizes pretty much the biggest secret in the game found so far by the community. I can reorganize that and put that into this guide in the future, but I'd like to publish the guide for the time being and worry about that later, if the community is alright with it.

Take heed of the fact that this secret spans a good amount of work throughout the entire game (and even outside of it) done by the community and features hidden pieces and huge, huge spoilers.

THE SECRET

Work Left to Do
This is a temporary log of things to do with this guide and I'll also put feedback and things here as necessary so I can remember to work on them later. And if anybody sees something they can prepare for me to put into this guide, they can also put it together and I'll credit them below too.

Initial Publish: November 26, 2018
Last Update: December 29, 2018
  • A general secrets section (as of publish time, it's mostly achievements and a couple secrets, but nowhere near the total)
  • Screenshots to help out the directions (will involve replaying again)
  • Revamp the vending section
  • The "finale" section - work out with the community if to put it into this guide / what to do about it
  • Proofread/cleanup/initial feedback...
  • Figure out more information on credits (asking the community, etc.)
Credits / Thanks
Thanks very much to the following:
  • Daniel Mullins for the great game
  • Carla for fishing
  • The community of gamers for working this game out
  • Hutch for the last item missing from Walk
  • Aumires for a correction in Combat Arena and a quicker solution to the first achievement in Secrets of Legendaria (and the extra hint!)
  • Anyone reading this guide right now

When it comes to direct credit, this is on my "Work Left to Do" (and I also don't want to start any fights for incorrectly crediting a secret or achievement to someone), but below are some example threads I used during my second playthrough to snag my remaining achievements and secrets...

Beware of spoilers in these links!

If the community has some agreement on people for me to list here for things above, please let me know and I will do so.

And thank you again if you are reading this.

Hey, to anyone who may see this comment, a way you can get The Full Truth if your struggling to get to the top of the castle is turn down your resolution and graphics quality in the settings then try to jump. (I think the collision of the castle may not properly scale to the screen size is why?)

Found someone talking about it in some other discussion board after struggling A LOT myself. Worked like a charm afterward.

Is there any requirement/achivement needed to get The Full Truth? I'm struggling a *lot* to get to the top of the castle in SWK: RR but there seems to be an invisible wall.

in case anyone else has this issue with shrewd awakening: skipping ahead with chapter select after giving the glasses to the mechanic seems to make them not appear in the waste world shop. you can fix it by going to your save file (on the game page in your steam library click the gear > manage > browse local files > SaveData.hexsave ) then change the false at {"stateId":"ShrewdGlasses","boolVal":false,"intVal":2,"stringVal":""} to true, this will allow you to give the glasses to the mechanic again and collect them from the first shop in waste world (the one from going south in the first map screen instead of north to the cache). don't know if they appear in any/every shop, I just checked that one first and they were there.

For the "ERROR 57" achivement i found out that if you use the thing dropped by the doppelganger on the missing No and then use the word/letter attack on another enemy it will still give the achivement and crash the game.

@loggs, that seems to be correct: I also used chapter select to complete multi-chapter achievements and they unlocked without the need for continious play.
