Achievements
Regular Achievements

All regular achievements can be achieved by just playing through the regular game. The game is not hard, and there are very few places where you can get yourself killed. It's mostly about making choices, which is up to you on how to deal with.

"Rare" Achievements

There are two achievements you might not get (but still possible) in your first playthrough. If you want to get this all in one playthrough, I suggest playing the chapter with Wyatt last, since that's the achievement that has a random element to it.

  • Reunited - An easy one. Start the Russell campaign and walk forward. As soon as the car gets close, you have the option to hide or stay put. Hide. That's it.
  • Two out of Three - Start the Wyatt campaign and play any way you like, until you have to decide who leaves the car to check out the body. Agree to play RPS and well... just win. It's all random, and it's a 1/3 chance each time. There is no strategy for this, other than you being lucky. If you win 2 out of 3 hands, you win.

In 2013 I rage quit this game with one achievement to go, Two Out of Three. I just decided to finally try again, but I lost twice. One of the losses was using the countering strategy. The third try I did countering again, and we tied like 6 times in a row. Then on the last two tries I won and finally got the 100%, 12 years later. I think it's just random. :golden:

I did get both of these at the same time. I didn't even realize that Russell hid next to Carly until I watched a video on it. Spooky.

The rock scissors paper game is atrociously difficult to win. It's definitely not 1/3. More like 1/10 (since I've had over ten attempts so far). The countering doesn't work for me either! Good luck guys! :steammocking:

I've played the scenario 18 times now, trying out different strategies. I'm starting to think that there's just no way to get that achievement. I'm sick of that guy talking about the road being as straight as his private parts.

It took me 3tries to win the rock/paper/scissors game. The second one had 8rounds.

Just tried the RPS thing here, it's completey random. First paper then scissors don't help at all.

I can't confirm the countering theory. At first I chose Rock and Eddie defeated me with Paper so next time I chose scissors (as some people here assumed) and he countered me with Rock. So I lost instantly... once again!
The countering theory is definitely NOT working anytime.
I think it's totally random how he chooses and I surely have no luck in such games :P
