"Ever asked yourself what would a mermaid (or a merman in this case because it's a male) look like in Gang Beasts? Probably not, but now you can see a possible rendition of it. Fishy Gang Beast!
But what would a mermaid be used for? Playable fighter? Definitively not, they couldn't walk around and having them flop on the ground would cause a ton of issues and never-ending matches.
I like to think they would make for a great escalation for Buoy: after 5 minutes (like all the stage escalations) 2-3 mermen start swimming up from the sea dephts bumping into the ice pieces trying to make the Gang Beasts fall into the water where they'll drag them and pull them down into the water until they hit the killbox. Being able to hit them and knock them out like players would also be fun, actually if they would punch aswell when you'd try to hold onto an ice chunk to K.O. you and make you let go would be hilarious!

However Boneloaf doesn't plan on adding fantasy element to Gang Beasts so I guess we won't have any evil mermen attacks and we'll have to settle with melting ice (actually they could be cool in Wheel too now that I think about it), which is still quite good in my book."
