hey guys, i uploaded in time for thanksgiving!

i am thankful for youtube. the platform, the people, the experiences. i don't express my appreciation for you guys, and in retrospect i regret that.

i am thankful for the friendships i fostered this year. for those that actually watched my year-in-review videos, you'd know that i was an angsty teen with no social skills. some things don't change haha. but these people gave me a chance. i would like to say it was by sheer luck, but something tells me it wasn't. they have gifted me with a new perspecitve and lifestyle. finally, some things have more meaning to them. some questions have been answered. some things are worth sticking around for.

but these people have made me feel great pain as well. the kind of pain that truly defines one. but this was not their mistake: it was yet another blessing. much of this agony, maybe all of it, was self-inflicted. but without it, i would not be the maturing human i am today. these feelings of personal conflict patiently tap me on the shoulder on a daily basis, until eventually i break. but it's okay, because i don't have to figure it out right now. for every bad day there is a good one. every nightmare is followed by utopia. every episode trails behind euphoria. some say the universe is founded off this force of duality. maybe so.

i am thankful for other things as well. my family, my circumstances, my environment, my identity. the list goes on. what are you thankful for?

i would like to buy a camera in the distant future so that i may express myself in other forms of media. while i love editing clips of people getting shot, maybe my message would be better conveyed through something else.
