Introduction
EDIT: Due to this game seemingly being abandoned by the creator, I have decided that I will release this guide as unfinished, I was planning to write up a full guide, but lost interest at the time the game was abandoned. I hope what is here will at least prove somewhat useful.

Hello and Welcome to this guide, in it I will go through and detail tips and tricks on how to better create your worlds, to help better immerse players in your world and to craft better quests and stories.

In this Guide I will go over the many parts of making a world, from the sculpting of the terrain, to the creation of forests and towns and the decorating of spaces within the world.

I will also go over tips and tricks on how to improve worlds and craft better stories and adventures for all to enjoy.

I am by no means an expert World builder in this game. I will continue to add to this guide as I find the time to work on it.

Getting Started
When Starting a new world you may find that you have difficulty getting started, this may be due to not nowing what you want to build, the best way to deal with that would be to find some inspiration off the internet or a favourite book/movie. A good idea can help you put together a world as you will have a clear idea of how the world is going to look and what to include when building your world.

Here are some Ideas to help get you started:
  • Faery Forest
  • Feudal Realm
  • Dwarven Kingdom
  • Rural Town
  • Ruined City
  • Orc Invasion
  • Graveyard

Once you have an idea you might struggle getting started, such as where to start building. Building in the beginning of a world should be the foundations, so sculpting the terrain should be one of the first things you do, then you are going to want to start placing the buildings and creating the forests of the world and once all that is done you can move on to the decorating of the world, such as placing barrels and NPCs, creating quests and placing enemies to fight.

World Sculpting
Laying out the World
Laying out the World is the creation of towns, forests etc. and can be one of the most important parts of world building as it can define the length of the quests and storylines. It can also be the part that can make or break a map, as a poorly planned town can look like an eye sore for players and can break their immersion in your world, so getting the layout of the world just right for your stories should be one of the most important things you do.

The first thing in laying out the world is figuring out where ther player spawns, do they spawn in a town or do they spawn in the wilderness, once you figured out where the player will spawn you should start by placing the spawn pad and building a basic scene of buildings or trees around it.

Once the spawn is placed, you should start laying out where the major location is for the map and create it, this will generally be a town or city. when building towns or cities, the buildings should be close together, depending on how many buildings there are, with more buildings meaning closer together. Towns and cities should be built around a defining feature, such as a church or market square.

Forests are a defining feature of many a fantasy world, it is where forgotten creatures dwell, it is also probably where most of the quests will send the player. When creating forests, it should feature a winding path leading from the town, with small side paths that lead to small clearings and areas where quests will be done.

Tips and Tricks
In this section I will place Tips and Tricks that can help you in building worlds.

General Tips:
  • It can help to think of a story for the world as you are building, such as what is the history of the town you are building or the history of the forest outside of town. It can help spark ideas for decorating and can help when you start making quests.

Tips for Sculpting:
  • When sculpting the terrain of the world, you want to make sure that there is enough space for stuff like towns and forests, other wise when it comes to making them you will have to resculpt the terrain which can prove to be a nuisance, so it is best to avoid having to do that all together.
