We live in a nation built on principles, and these principles need to be defended by leaders who understand their value. Who’s going to do it? Hillary Clinton? Kamala Harris? Trump has a greater responsibility than liberals can fathom. The left criticize the decisions made by those who truly understand what it takes to lead this country, and they mock the strength and resolve required to make tough choices. The left have the luxury of not knowing what I know — that Trump’s leadership, while unconventional, is exactly what this country needs. His style, though unconventional, protects our core values; and my admiration for him, while misunderstood, is precisely because he stands as a bulwark against the encroaching decay of those values. The left don’t want the truth because deep down in places they don’t discuss at political rallies, they need Trump’s kind of leadership. They want him on that stage — they need him on that stage.
