You will receive these achievements simply by playing through the game.

There are a total of 3 achievements for collecting specific items throughout the game. These include video logs, audio logs and one specific collectible.


I have included both video and audio logs in this section in the order you can first encounter them when progressing through the game, which I think makes the most sense. The order is not strict and you can revisit places to pick things up later, but some of the logs are definitely missable.

Since I am not a hundred percent sure what exactly is considered an “audio log”, I have included all message boxes, audio recorders and walkie-talkies. Video logs are marked with a V and audio logs with an A.

V#1: After you first enter Apartment C, go to the left into the music room. Look into the drawer of the side table with the film player on it to pick up the Video Tape.

A#1: After you've entered the Apartment and you've seen the child running away, there will be a new message on the Message Box. Play it.

A#2: After swapping for the first time in the Apartment (white perspective), there is another message on the Message Box.

A#3: This one is easy to miss. After you have uncorrupted the kitchen and encountered the glitch, but before going down to the courtyard, swap to the blue perspective and pick up the Recording Device on the kitchen counter. Observe it to let the message play.

A#4: In the courtyard (yellow perspective), in Ben's Shack, interact with the Stereo.

V#2: If you are in Ben's Shack (yellow perspective), turn around to face the entrance, then look up. Pick up the Disk above it.

V#3: Swap to the blue perspective and go down to the courtyard once more. In the Garage, find the USB Drive lying right next to the computer.

V#4: In the same location, open the locker and pick up the Hard Drive at the very bottom of it.

While you're here, you also have the chance to unlock the Behind The Curtain achievement by looking into the file cabinet and finding an image of presumably the dev team.

A#5: After you come back up from the courtyard (still blue perspective), pick up the exact same Recording Device as in A#3 again, this time with a different message.

A#6: Right after you've picked up A#5, there will be another message on the Message Box, make sure to activate it.

V#5: After solving the snowflake puzzle and uncorrupting the Dining Room, find another USB Drive in the right cabinet under the 3D-printer.

V#6: Once you have access to Ben's Room (yellow perspective), pick up the CD lying in the closet.

A#7: On the table in Ben's Room is a Walkie-Talkie.

V#7: You will enter the red perspective after putting the second prism into the device. Behind the leftmost door at the end of the hallway, find a Movie Reel in the wall closet.

V#8: After solving the music puzzle and uncorrupting the Living Room, pick up another Movie Reel on the bottom table right as you enter.

V#9: Just afterwards, look to the right and open the uppermost drawer of the file cabinet. There's a Video Tape in it.

A#8: Visit the Living Room in the yellow perspective and interact with the Stereo near the fireplace.

V#10: On the left table in the Living Room, there is a CD.

A#9: In the blue perspective Living Room, after putting the sand into the hourglass and getting to the clocks, but before solving the clock puzzle, pick up the Recording Device on the table.

V#11: Immediately after you solved the clock puzzle, look at the fireplace for a USB Drive.

V#12: In the same room, behind the TV is a Video Tape.

A#10: Turn around and pick up a Walkie-Talkie on the computer thingy in the left corner of the room.

A#11: After you've left the Living Room, there is a new message on the Message Box. Activating it should reward you with the Broken Family achievement if you've done everything right.

V#13: The last video tape is quite elusive. After you've inputted the red prism, you will be warped to the cellar again. If you duck and look to the left of you, in a dark corner the last Video Tape is hidden, very hard to see unless you play on high gamma. You can now finish the game to unlock the The Whole Story achievement. Congrats!
