I'm sure he wouldn't be trying to 'BUT I'M NOT A KID' without anyone assuming he was, making it seem a lot more obvious that he is one... you know, like when a bloke talks about his crush, and without any reason, has to add '...And btw I totally don't like them' when nobody said anything regarding that.
