Russow - Check the sign on the wall. It mentions the order of pieces that you would press a button on in order. King is first. press first button. then move on to next. and next button...

There's some text near the queen piece, on the wall. There's also a set of six buttons on each of the chess pieces. The rest is just knowing which piece is which.
