Unit scale: battalion / brigade
Length: 35 turns ( 4,37 days in-game )


BACKGROUND

This map features a mission, made all by me from scratch, involving the 2008 Russian-Georgian war on South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Georgia. It was a very short conflict and with low-intensity clashes if compared to other ones. Russian and Georgia are playable and both have preset A.I, so you can play against the machine no matter what side you pick.



SIGNIFICANT EVENTS
- There are some events for now, but i'm planning to add some more (fictional and not).


CONSIDERATIONS

This is a scenario and was based on reality, so don't expect to achieve a glorious victory as Georgia. Keep in mind that the scenario is in the BETA stage, and for this and other reasons, the map may contain errors such as: geographical disproportions, missing historical units or with their misspellings and many other errant details. If you have any suggestions, criticism or information, please do not hesitate to share it.

KNOWN ISSUES

- Units not playable at the beginnig (Russian Naval, Abkhazia and Georgian NATO troops) might not get ready to use properly.
- Georgian 1st Inf Be HQ can be deslocated, by helicopter, before time.
- Georgian 1st Inf Be getting free to use before 11 August.
- Often crashes (i don't known if it's the mission or the game).
- Russian regular army might get stuck on the mountains.
- Units might not change their icons properly after disembark.
- Victory condition coficient might not be well adjusted.
- Lacking true Georgia flag.
- Georgian Army A.I might perform poorly on the battlefield.

So far they have only moved 1 tile for me currently just playing as Georgia. Russia seems to be able to advance quickly but a lot of mine move slow. I get that it definitely was a short war and is a short scenario but if my math isn't wrong you have about 24 turns which is the same turn length as the six day war. I do understand the maps are vastly different though so I definitely don't think they should be 3 or 4 but 2 tiles for each unit wouldn't be that bad imho

Some units can move more than 1 title, also, the problem is that it was a very very quick war, so i had to configure unit's pace to keep up with the real operational time.

It would also be nice if the units could move more than 1 tile at a time but It's still fun. Sorry for the second message couldn't edit my other one for some reason

Fair enough. So far it's pretty fun, it did crash a bit when I passed Russia to the AI but it finally stopped after turn 7.

Out of curiosity why does Georgia have the Imperial German Emblem in it's icon?

marcosdahistoria, you should look for the game's file in your Steam/steamapps.

I'm very busy at the momment, but untill the end of 2021, i'm planning on finishing this scenario.
