Fool For A Lifetime (a Ravage mission)

This is a SINGLE PLAYER scenario!


You are a low-level ION Corporation worker, deployed in Tanoa. Your job is to manage a small-scale signals intelligence station, monitoring communications. Or that WAS your job.

Some months ago a previously unknown disease started spreading in the world, killing almost all women and turning infected men in to flesh eating monsters. Soon the disease, now called The White Plague, was everywhere.

The world started to go dark. Satellites went off their courses. Internet shut down. TV and radio went silent. All gone. You are stuck in Tanoa, living quietly in your small base. Sometimes you hear gunfire from the distance, echoing through the islands, so you decided it is better to stay where you are.

You built a makeshift motion detector device from a video camera and a radio to guard your perimeter. As days and weeks turned into months and nothing happened, you started to feel kinda safe. What ever unrest there was or is out there, you were spared from it...

Until now.


- This is a story driven post-apocalyptic jungle-adventure built around the RAVAGE mod. This scenario is rather massive in length, so it'll take you some time to finish.

- New to Ravage mod? No worries! One of your first tasks in the game is to find a piece of intel called ION CORPORATION SURVIVAL GUIDE, which will explain the basics of Ravage and also SOME OTHER UNIQUE FEATURES of this mission... Everything you need to know is in there, so I recommend you READ IT CAREFULLY!

- You like tasked missions? There will be plenty of tasks... plenty!

- You like sand-box styled missions? About halfway through the scenario it will change into just that!

- You like customized environment? Theres dozens (yes, in plural...) of customized locations, some just small patrol camps, some quite huge...

- You tired of them vanilla weapons? Theres a custom weapons pool of over 30 weapons... plus many you only find in a certain place... a real custom variety of firearms from different mods!

- You like handplaced AI enemies? No random-geared, random-spawning AI in this one, they're all placed, all with unique load-outs. And theres LOTS of them...

- You like night missions? This scenario has been specifically designed to support night operations... more about that in the in-game guide. Of course, you can go at it at daytime, if you wish...

- You like dirty pirate-themed comedy bits? Well, this for you then... arrr!

- You like custom music? This has some, by NVS...

- Things mentioned above were just a taste of whats coming to you. The rest you need to find out yourself.


Of course you need all the mods listed on the right, and basically all DLC's from BIS...

Also, if you want, you can use the following mods:

- BLOODLUST (adds some gore and a nice thump everytime you hit a zombie with a car fast enough...)

- SHACKTAC INTERFACE (helps you navigate)


- Specially no anything that modifies AI behavior

- Also, maybe no use Enhanced Movement ? You might end up climbing over the wrong walls at the wrong time and breaking carefully designed mission mechanics?

A HUGE THANKS for everybody creating and updating the mods I used. I really couldn't do these missions with vanilla Arma!
