This world war 1 map serves as a sandbox version of the map, "gm_battlefield_1", with better performance. It is still high in detail, but every thing causing lag has been taken out.

Some details that have been removed are:

- Triggerboxes responsible for creating random explosions, radio chatter, and sound effects.
- All npcs including the combine apc.
- The cheap version of the chlorine/mustard gas.
- All single player spawnpoints.
- The annoying cinematic intro.

Some details added:

- 26 info_player_start entities.
- 3 Chlorine/Mustard (canned) gas motars, all dealing 25 damage per second (see images above on how to use).
- 14 physics portable barbed wire cages/fences, dealing 10 damage to clients and npcs, per second.
- Home base is now destructable (2000 health in total, see image above)
- Cubemap reflections
- Prop and entity shadowing.

You can say that I have been requested by many of you for me to make an empty version of the battlefield. Though I would not do it without adding something extra for you to enjoy. If you have any suggestions and bug fixes to request that do not include npcs, please post it in the comments below; it is innovative :)
