Why did i make this?
Well,
too many people not knowing what to do (Ai's are not a good practice opponent)
no players...let's be honest here, this game has very little players, even less that are good

I'll update + add new stuff when i feel like it, now read this incomplete guide (that's pretty much the only one that's an actual guide

(Creative waz here)

30-April-2020: i'll start working on this again, expect some drastic changes, some things said in this guide before are very outdated and are going to be replaced by newer info
Demonstration videos
Videos showing proper execution of strategies

these videos demonstrates how a missile blitz is done
(1080p60fps)

(720p30fps)

this video demonstrates how a railspam is done
(720p30fps)

Defense placement
Kinetic defense needs to be put in a tri-fecta pattern in order to effectively protect the object in the center from splash damage
Ion defense needs to be put right next to an object to protect it, only 1 is needed and you can use 2 if you're paranoid of nukes or biohazardous missile's large aoe
Shield defense needs to be put right next to an object to protect it, only 1 is needed
Tech tree
I would reccommend these tech strats
(you can queqe research by pressing Shift+Left Click)

(Warning: haven't been updated for around a year)

Blank Slate:
if you wan't to make your own strategy (this is the best start in my opinion)
Quantum computing --> nanostructuring
Quantum computing - as soon as you have it, put it on (2 of) your biggest cities, not all of them
Nanostructuring - a 100% increase in energy income per solar plant is good

le Railspam:
Quantum computing --> nanostructuring --> ultra capacitors --> composite heat cells
use the tech mentioned before (Quantum computing and nanostructuring) as i said on the strategy above this one
Ultra capacitors - get triple barrel assembly on every railgun that you have, so 3 bullets per railgun (you need a lot of energy to spam attack with the railguns)
Composite heat cells - get the airbust upgrade on every railgun so every 3 shot of each railgun has an insane +60% AOE radius, with spamming railguns, this is powerful

de Missile Blitzkrieg:
Quantum computing --> nanostructuring --> orbital assembly --> Ultra capacitors
use the tech mentioned before (Quantum computing and nanostructuring) as i said on the strategy on the top
Orbital assembly - Missiles ofcourse
Ultra capacitors - use the radar astronomy unit upgrade that gives you +20 research per turn, per upgrade on every telescope array you have, aka SPAM THEM, it will give you the tech advantage and gives you more versatility in the long run (if you fail to kill the enemy early game)

Campy Boi:
Quantum computing --> nanostructuring --> atmospheric interference mitigation
use the tech mentioned before (Quantum computing and nanostructuring) as i said on the strategy on the top
atmospheric interference mitigation - you'll get kinetic + ion defense when you finnish researching this tech, and put triple kinetics on every far side of the city, and one ion defense with the maglev servo uprade + the defense radius upgrade, and lay low

Research Cheese:
Quantum computing --> nanostructuring --> ultra capacitors --> "defense" --> superweapons
use the tech mentioned before (Quantum computing and nanostructuring) as i said on the strategy on the top
when you get the active radar scan city upgrade (aka before ultra capacitors), put it on 2 of you're biggest cities, +50% and +60% makes a big research advantage over you're opponents, AND make sure to refresh the active radar scan city project every 3 turns
ultra capacitors - use the radar astronomy unit upgrade that gives you +20 research per turn, per upgrade on every telescope array you have, deviate anything that's not too important (light offense, etc) to building more research telescopes to get you more and more research
"defense" - pretty self explanatory, defend if needed, you have decent intel with those research telescopic arrays
superweapons - if you have around 1500 research per turn, start to rush superweapons, it's effective (on multiplayer mode people won't expect you to have 1500 research per turn, exept if they're good at the game, but let's be real here...)

and more to come if i find any more good strategies

last time i recall yes, still works!
and i'm also really sorry for the bacon and eggs, but they had it coming

Does this guide still work? I tried to make bacon and eggs like it said but they got burned

yep what @yolobaker said

The amount of connections from a city is dictated by it's population size. When you click on it, you can see when each new connection unlocks

I loved watching the "30 second timer" video but have a question about it. I am unable to connect a solar panel to the city. I know this thread is somewhat old but was hoping someone could explain why I can't connect a solar panel to the city. Did the game change in anyway? There appears to be only 1 "connection" to a city and that prevents me from adding a mine and a solar panel.
Thanks for the interesting 13 minute game. :)

thank you!
i personally have not updated this guide much at all lol, i just add videos of me playing as guides

Traso made a better version of this guide with feedback from Creative and me

Does anybody know what the developers have said about realising the source code for this game? It could breath some life into it, one way or another.
Strat  [author] 27 Jun, 2020 @ 3:18am
unfortunately yeah, no updates to keep the game alive and the game is very niche
