Fort build time
800 => 400
(Including Marsh, Jungle and Forest)

Road build time
400 -=> 200


Railroad build time
400 -=> 200

I was so sad that for takes 13 turns to be constructed.
We barely use Fort for tacticaly reasons, but I did not want to waste my Great general for Citadel.

So this MOD will enable efficient use of fort.

Also, fast roads will give gold from trade routes faster and enable your soldiers to move to war field quickly.

Can you also make it so what you can use enemies forts and roads?

@Traveler yes, there is a free road mod! its called Free Expansion - No Upkeep

Ok, I tried it and had a major mod conflict. I use Promotions - Expansion Pack (v7), maybe this happened because I ran an existing game, but ALL the effects of Promotions were simply gone. It was like the mod wasn't even installed but I double checked and it was.

I'll give this a try. Does anyone know of a mod that reduces the maintace cost of roads? Building a road should be a posityive economic development, not a eternal cost.
