I tend to bury the dead raiders that attack me. Otherwise I end up arresting them, treating them and then letting them go after extensive attitude adjustment. They end up liking my colonists. However their freedom comes with being stripped of all clothing and since my area of choice is a desert they'll likely die anyway.
