In order to terrify snipers, there are several ways of doing so, some are:

* Hang a body and then throw darts at them form its position to make them look at it
* Throw a body right in front of their laser sight
* Terror darts
* Kill a body using the "Path of Nightmares" and let them notice it
* Let them see someone being eaten by the insects

and more

One thing I accidentally discovered is that snipers can be terrified too, but practicality of doing that is questionable

Although there are other variants of enemies such for example the bandits which are alternative variants of the standard guards themselves touch for example the sniper the gas mask guard the shield guard and the traditional guards as well

Nice guide, but the stalkers are weird in that they have gas masks from a gameplay perspective (poison gas and smoke bombs) but they aren't actually wearing gas masks. Their armour and gear reveals their mouth, and the devs seem to have not forgotten that when programming their behaviour as enemies. Also, have you noticed that they speak all robotically? There is no actual reason why. They wear no masks that muffle their faces, so you can only assume that they're doing the robo-voices because they think it makes them sound cool lol.

You can also let stalkers spot you at the top of a wall and spend forever messing with them by tossing a dart at them whenever they try to climb up. They fall off and have to start again.

The noises they make make it sound like they're frustrated by you.

They (like everything else) are also incredibly vulnerable to regular guards once you terrorise them. They don't handle a spray of bullets in the back very well!

You can beat Elites up a bunch until they're stunned, which allows you to go for the kill. This however is more than likely going to get you detected.

The sight of a Sniper can be blocked by a smoke bomb and you can temporarily render them blind by throwing a dart at them.
