A. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to my second guide for RAID: WWII. This guide contains information concerning the raider types and their proficiency skills.

** PLEASE NOTE - This guide is now obsolete since the Resurgence Update **

As this guide has alot of moving parts I would ask that if you find any glaring mistakes or missing info, please let me know in the comments section below and I will do my best to correct asap. Furthermore though the guide is essentially complete, additional information may be added in the future, time permitting.

B. PROFICIENCIES
The following sections provide details about skill proficiencies in-game.
- Proficiency Overview
The image below provides a graphical overview of all proficiencies/skills available to raiders. A new proficiency is chosen for every new experience level gained. There are several categories each with a specific purpose within the game. Some raider classes will not have access to every known skill.

The combination of raider and proficiencies chosen will determine what the raider's capabilities and role will be within the squad and ultimately how useful they will be at certain tasks.
  • There are a total of 39 skills across 11 categories.
  • Each raider possesses 93 proficiency options until they reach max. level.
  • Each raider possesses 1 warcry with 3 optional specializations.

- Proficiency Availability & Limits
The table below lists all available proficiencies and their max. possible upgrades and potential effect/benefits. In addition the number of possible upgrades per proficiency are shown for each raider type.

C. RAIDER TYPES AND THEIR PROFICIENCIES
The following sections provide details on raider types, available proficiencies by level and build specializations. Indicated are the key proficiencies for each class including: Warcry, Key Skills (4 levels), Other Skills (3 levels) or Worst Skills (no levels). Preferred weapons (3 levels) or Alternate weapons (2 levels) for each class are also shown.
- Recon Raider
The Recon raider is the squad is the squad's marksman. Preferring to shoot from long-range, this raider is perfect for providing pin-point suppressive fire at enemies while crouched. When armed with a sniper rifle they can heal themselves with each kill.

They excel at moving at speed across the battlefield from location to location when required. They can also be a great help when moving heavy items to complete mission objectives..

STARTING STATS:


WARCRY: Sharpshooter - Auto-aim and self-heal on kill.
PREFFERED WEAPONS: Sniper Rifle
ALTERNATE WEAPONS: Assault Rifle

- Assault Raider
The Assault Raider is the warrior and healer of the squad, specialising in combat proficiences designed to mitigate damage on itself and inflict maximum damage on enemies. It also is the most versatile class, with almost all skills available to upgrade to at least a good level depending on the choices made.

The preferred weapons of the class are the LMG or SMG, but it excelles with the assault rifle. A few specialization types exist such as the dedicated healer, reviver or tank. Its warcry provides the team with a varied amount of healing and ammo replenishment. This is the best general purpose perk in the game for Very Hard difficulty.

STARTING STATS:

- Insurgent Raider

The Insurgent Raider is the squad stealth expert, specializing in objective tasks and melee combat. Specialist weapons include the SMGs and pistol/sidearms. This raider is second only at openning locks to the demolitionist. It can also competantly use the shotgun weapon if desired and is the raider best able to carry additional ammunition.

STARTING STATS:


WARCRY: Untouchable - Becomes harder to hit and moves faster.
PREFFERED WEAPONS: SMG, Pistol.
ALTERNATE WEAPONS: Shotgun.
STRONG SKILLS: Backup Clips, Brawler, Evasive, Fast Hands, First Aid, Fleet Footed, Iron Jaw, Nimble Fingers, Second Wind, Sprinter, Up and At 'Em.

- Demolitions Raider
The Demolitions Raider is the squad's grenade specialist and mass killer. Its main strength lie in its abiltity to kill many basic enemies in close proximity with its increased grenades with special abilities. Yet it also excels at completing objectives under fire when stealth is not or has ceased to be an option. Its main weapon specializations are the LMG and shotgun.

STARTING STATS:


WARCRY: Ignition - Grenades gain cluster munitions and reduces damage from incoming enemy fire.
PREFFERED WEAPONS: LMG, Shotgun.
ALTERNATE WEAPONS: Assault Rifle.
BEST SKILLS: Burglar, Concentration, Fast Hands, Grenaider, Juggler, Locksmith, Nimble Fingers, Scavenger, Strong Back.

A very detailed way of analyzing each of the 4 classes. My only advice to the newcomer is: Take Assault or GTFO
