Introduction
Now, im going to assume you know your way around Luftrausers by now, and that you have unlocked a lot of stuff, but you dont have a main yet, dont worry, thats a pretty common thing in this game
Or maybe you saw that one video and you thought "Man, this one looks cool!", yet, you have no idea how to use it

This guide is for people like you, now lets get started, shall we?
Basics and Beginning an Assault on: Ships and boats
As you might know, the Staff Pick is created by picking the big cannon, a melee body and the hyperboost, for some it might sound like a good deal, fast yet powerful, but for others, it sounds awful, a cannon fires once a year, a body that falls apart if you sneeze too hard, and an engine that wont let you turn

We throw that kind of people off the sub

Now, the main thing you want to know about this rauser is that you DONT play it aggresively, you dont dive into ships, you dont fly into fighter clouds, and you never, NEVER fly straight at gunboats, trust me, that'll get you killed quicker than anything

"So how do i play it?" you ask?
Simple! You hit and run, you fly over things, most likely boats, you turn and fire, and you let the fighter cloud chasing you eat the remains of the giant bullet you shot out of your even bigger gun

The best way to do this, is to cruise over the water, not low, but low enough so you can see whats under you, once you spot the thing you want to kill, you shut your engines and turn in a 90º angle towards the water
Take in mind, you need to time your shots very well, as you are actually faster than them, and missing isnt good, because you dont have time to try again

If you did it right, the thing you shot should be dead, or pretty hurt, and every fighter near you should have been turned into nothing
Beginning an Assault on: Aces
Now this is where it gets really interesting

Lets say you're doing fine and dandy, you have a pretty high combo, and you're having fun
Then the Ace appears

Luckily enough, your rauser is pretty much designed to get rid of these, how you ask? Well let me show you how

Something that people dont know about the hyperboost, is that you can actually turn semi normally without making an autistic sharp turn and losing speed, all you have to do is to tap your boost key really quickly and turn in the desired direction, you can kinda control the width of the turn with the quickness of your button smashing, go ahead, try it!

this will allow you to make battleships miss their flak, as the game dosent know how to read your path by mashing the key like a jackhammer, and more importantly, you'll be able to dance through the shots of the Ace

Now, something i've noticed is that Aces have this tendency of ramming you, it dosent matter if you have the melee equipped, they do it anyways, thats where you have to fire, a single shot inside of them is lethal, and it will send that damned copycat straight into hell

If you did what i told you, the Ace should be dead, good work!
Beginning an Assault on: Blimps
This is where it gets really thrilling
Okay so, you might think that getting rid of blimps in such a fragile rauser would be hard, but its actually not, thanks to the melee body, you can just get inside of it, and fire away

Take in mind you cant just sit still inside the thing, it cant shoot you with its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beams, but it the missiles can follow you in, and those bastards will be your main problem here, during your aproach, you might be too focused on the blimp to notice the huge cluster of missiles you're flying into, and it takes about one to get you almost dead, so you'll see yourself dying to these a lot, but once you get inside of the blimp, you're pretty much safe
Summary of Notes
This is where i list the curious exploits and important notes of the Staff Pick

- You can turn quickly by tapping your boost key really fast, thus negating its original drawback

- Ramming while you fire is a very effective stragety to take down gunboats and Aces

- Gunboats will die in one ramming pass, without firing, you can use this to line up several of them and get rid of them really quickly

- Battleships cant effectively track tap-turning

- Dont be afraid to go into the water, sometimes its better than bullets

- Stay low for maximum killing and maximum danger, go high to recover health and relocate

- Avoid Battleship clusters, too many bullets

- Watch out for missiles

Cannon tip: multiple boats overlapped = multiplier to your damage. Usually it takes 3 hits to take down a battleship, but if there's a gunboat or another battleship lined up on the battleship's edge, shooting where they overlap will deal twice the damage. Two shots/battleship if this happens every time! This seems to occur because the cannon projectile produces twice the number of projectiles when it explodes.
