This mod is now outdated and will not be updated any longer but will still work independently, this mod is now archived.

The updated version called: "Amazing Space Battles" is now finished and offers far greater content.

To download the new version; click on the picture above to travel to the steam-workshop page and click "subscribe", then activate the mod in your Stellaris launcher.






UPDATED TO V2.3

This mod gives lasers and all laser-type weapons a fast "Travel" effect as seen in various sci-fi such as star trek. This way, you can also tell more easily if the lasers are being fired at or by your ships.

This mod is purely graphical and wont change balance.
Ironman compatible = yes
Savegame compatible = yes

Personally I think it works very well and it really adds to the look and feel of space battles.


Compatibility:

These patches add the laser travel effect to the respective mod.

Ps:
- laser colors are NOT changed by this mod.

Hah! So as I occasionally do, I was looking for other graphics mods that might adjust some of the still-lacking weapons to better visuals. Aaand I came upon the conversation the LAST time we discussed this. Which I'd forgotten about. So I feel a bit sheepish, but fact remains: that was a while ago. Any progress? :)

Any chance of getting something for Null Void Beams/Matter Disintegrators? They stand out like a sore thumb compared to the glorious doombeams of this mod. :(
