This mod nerfs the hunger rate multiplier of gourmands to something much more reasonable,(1.5x to 1.1x) that's about all there is to it.

Part 2: I have three possibilities now: If I ditch her, only two people would be left, and one of them will gain a 26 mood debuff for god knows how many days at the currently best time to work outside, or at the best time to work in general. The other option would be to keep her hungry, fire-addicted sluggish ass eating away my scarce supply of randy cargo corn. The last option would be to keep her in addition to install this glorious, yet sadly outdated mod. This way it wouldn't be such a big drama.

This is my 4th attempt, and I made it past summer for the first time. Pls update or big rip incoming.

Part 1: This mod is urgently needed for me lol. I fucked up real hard this time. Story: I was doing a close-to-naked brutality challenge in the middle of a 70° hot extreme desert, merciless, randy, commitment mode. 40 days after gaining a second colonist, I had a quest from a fleeing b***h who was like "birds are chasing me, I can't tell shit about myself pls take me into your colony*. I was like "yeah pls don't be shit". And there she is, gourmand, pyromaniac, slowpoke. Nice construction, animals and artistic skills, but no double flame and absolutely garbage. My stupid ass decided to keep her for 3-4 days, since I wanted to create a new base and could need some construction. Vulcanic winter has hit at the same time, which I was happy about since it lowers the temperature to a non-apocalyptic level. Four days have passed, the first part of the new base was nearly completed and I was close to ditch her hungry ass outta my colony but then it happened, my royal fell into love with her.

it should really be that the Gourmand gets larger penalties for raw food/neutrient paste, a penalty for simple meals/pemmican, no bonus for fine meals/survival rations, and double the bonus for Lavish meals and chocolate.

Making them more likely to break and go on food binges until you can reliably supply them with the the lavish meals they truly desire.

Makes sense. It should really just add a bigger debuff to mood when hungry or maybe make the debuffs appear earlier. A fat guy claiming he's going to die of starvation is really just being melodramatic, I would know. XD
