"Some skins for the contest! I'll provide a brief explanation of my inspirations!

Stargazer: I just liked the idea of having a sort of night time skin that's also sparkly. Most of the current hedgehog skins resonate more with daytime colors. I thought about washi tape style designs with this one. I know Asian-style wouldn't fit much into Meadow's aesthetics but it wouldn't hurt to pay a little homage to well, my home.

Pink Champagne: I don't think there's been an albino skin for any of the animals yet (?), I thought it'd be lovely to have this variation, especially for the roleplaying community.

Nadelkissen: I'm a huge sucker for rainbows but wanted to incorporate it more with the game's style, so I thought about quilts! And quilting! And icelandic quilting! Some pincushions are just frankensteined bits of leftover cloth stuffed with cotton. It's also a pun about how hedgehogs aren't as spiny as porcupines so why not be a pincushion! And it's a huge homage to my favorite Hedgehog sisters from Animal Crossing (who make clothes there).

Mixed Berries: I just like the idea of animals mixing with nature/plants (and food) and so this was born! I still like colorful things so I knew I won't be satisfied with just a green plant color. I thought of a hedgehog with a red nose and its beady black eyes and realized---Berries!

Dust Devil: I was thinking of sand/desert colors because I was thinking about Sandshrew (Pokemon). I also thought about Tasmanian Devil although a badger would have worked better for him haha.

Rosengarten: I remembered how the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland used hedgehogs as balls for the croquet match. This little hedgehog wanted no part of it so they disguised themselves as one of the queen's beloved rosebushes.
