Maverick is designed to be a stealth and a hard hitting operator, this is my opinion, keep that in mind while you read this guide.

Weapons
AR-15.50

Considered by the game an assault rifle (with the high damage, semi-auto fire mode and low ammo count, I personally consider it a DMR). It has good damage, (even with suppressor) and almost no recoil (even with suppressor). Capacity of 10+1, overall perfect for medium to long range combat.

M4

A very reliable assault rifle similar with Ash's R4-C, lacks damage and if you slap on a suppressor it's even more noticeable. Recoil it's reasonably controllable, surprisingly. Your barrel attachment it's up to your prefference, I personally use the suppressor. The rate of fire it's just right, the capacity it's a standard 30+1, overall perfect for close engagements.


1911 TACOPS

A good pistol, good rate of fire and damage but leaks capacity and in tense situations it can be fatal, being the only sidearm you don't really have a choice tho.
Common Gadgets
Stun Grenade
I personally use them rarely but, I use them sometimes just as an extra gadget to use against cover campers.

Claymore
Amazing for keeping off pesky roamers from flanking you while you make holes or just as an extra safety measure. You can also use them in combination with your “Exothermic-s “SURI” torch” gadget to improvise small traps. Also on bomb mode, you can use it to defend the defuser.
EXOTHERMIC-S “SURI” TORCH
An amazing gadget, can make small holes and cut sections, you can even use it as a breach tool. With this gadget, your imagination is the limit.
Tactics
- I like to use the “EXOTHERMIC-S “SURI” TORCH” to make lots of holes in big exterior walls that might be protected by a Bandit, like the garage doors on Chalet or Consulate or even Armory Lockers on Border, to play a little game of “Whack them all” with Bandit or any other defender that will try to get an easy kill.

- Also another tactic is to make small sneaky holes in dark corners to take the defenders by surprise.

- The blowtorch can be used to make stealth soft breaches (breakable soft walls) and take the enemies by surprise, works great with a suppressor on your main gun.

I agree but that's statistics, I'm talking that with that rate of fire it should of been higher damage and it's quite noticeable in combat.

I'm suprised Ubi was either lazy enough or left-sided enough to consider the AR-15 an assault rifle. Part of what makes an assault rifle an assault rifle is the fact that is has changeable fire modes, which the AR-15 .50 doesn't have. You are completely correct in saying it's a DMR.

@OddBalll Cause it's a DMR for muzzle it benefits from Muzzle Break, other options are optional. I use Vertical Grip and ACOG.

Why do you people force others to change? Why do you bully and make people change what they like? If you don't agree just dont agree. Don't be a bully(Arsehole I mean) cause it's not nice.
Forcing the author of a guide to change the name of the guide and rude comments... I hope that you're like this in real world too, I say this cause I know you're not.
Keep up the guides @CrazyCabbage and don't mind some none educated people who don't respect others.

I use muzzle brake, vertical grip and ACOG, depends on your playstyle.

Maverick can be very frustrating to play against, but he is also a very good asset to have. It goes both ways, I suppose. Can we all just take a second to appreciate how sexy his AR looks?
