If you did not like the original half-life sounds, this version is not for you. I have converted them all to stereo, cleaned them up and made them deptheirerer. that's a word. I also sprinkled in parts of the original handling sounds into some of the new ones. They sound far better than half life, but not as good as BM. Check out the video. All visual mods shown in the video are in the above collection. This is for nostalgic purposes.

Are the ricochet sounds tipping anyone off? I can make then a seperate add-on.

Like any sound mod, type snd_restart into the console before playing.

As cool as this is, is there no way to further enhance the SFX by changing the audio scripts?

I love these so much.. except they are REALLY loud. If you could lower how loud some of them are it would be perfect.

(Also, wish I could have gotten sound scripts to work. Could have added more sounds like varying crowbar hits and the alternate 357 ones.)

Great remastered sounds! Would be perfect if not for the crowbar sounds. They should vary depending on the surface Gordon hits: wood, stone, concrete, metal, flesh... Keep on the good work mate, thank you for this mod :)

Doesn't work, removes my sounds rather than replacing them.
