"My long-awaited summer project (and extremely late upload). Took me about 3-4 weeks on-and-off to complete, and probably my most functional Lego firearm to date. Anyway, the real-life counterpart was first debuted this year (2018), and is exclusive to law enforcement/military customers. It measures 21" with the stock in, and retracts up to 25.5".

Pistol grip is a new building technique I decided to try. Sturdier, more visually accurate. Mag release button on the right side, retracting stock lock works on a switch system (improved from previous MP5 design), fiip-up iron sights, working charging handle/shell ejection. There's also a switch above the end of the barrel (hard to see) which has a suppressed setting (presumably to cut down on space).

Overall: Given that I don't usually enjoy building SCAR-type rifles, I am pleased with how this version turned out.
