Codex 8: Factions

IF YOU CAN'T GET THE MOD TO WORK, IT'S PROBABLY BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. THEY'RE RIGHT BELOW, KEEP READING.

This mod enables you to play as the following factions, bringing the current total to 9: Dark Eldar, Chaos, Imperial Guard, Adeptus Mechanicus, Tau, and Tyranids. Everything is designed to match the 8th edition rules as much as possible.

This is still a work in progress, especially on the last 3 factions. The Tau markerlight system is what's currently occupying my time. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

HOW TO PLAY
First up, subscribe. Next, go into DOW 3, and select custom online or custom solo. In the middle of the screen should be a bunch of pulldown menus, one of which is for mods. Select the mod there. Now choose your race depending on what you want to be playing.

Space Marines: Chaos and Mechanicus
Eldar: Dark Eldar and Tau
Orks: Imperial Guard and Tyranids

Now start your match. Your headquarters will have a series of buttons to do the actual faction selection.

Note: The in game text breaks randomly, so unit descriptions are posted in the discussion section here.

Extra note: In case you don't yet know how this works, the mod tools for this game are missing some key features. In particular, I can't add any new models. So everything is a remix of what's in the game, plus a few chaos and guard units from the campaign. I really wish this wasn't the case, but here we are. So take it up with Relic if you're bothered that the Tau all look like Eldar.
