Step 1: Kick Rocks!
Stare at the ground until it says " search for rocks "

Press F and continue this until you have 2 small stones

Step 2: Craft a Knife!
Go to the Crafting tab and craft a rock knife.

Step 3: Get Nekked!
Drop your prison outfit (both pants and shirt) onto the ground.

Step 4: Shred!
To shred the clothes, put the stone knife into your hands and right click the clothes.

This will bring up a list of options.

Click " tear into rags "

Shred 2 rags into strips. This will leave you with 6 strips and 3 rags left.

Step 5: Create a Rope
Go into the Crafting tab of your inventory and create an Improvised Rope out of your strips.

Step 6: Craft Your Backpack!
Once the rope is created, go into the Crafting tab and create your Improvised Courier Backpack.

Step 7: Cut Down a Bush or Small Tree
Use your small rock and cut down any bush or small tree you can.

Step 8: Create Spears
After cutting down a bush or tree, you should find at least one Long Wooden Stick.

With this stick in your vicinity, go into the Crafting tab and create 1 (or two) wooden spears.

Step 9: Kill!
Now that you have starting gear and some fame, journey out into the wild!

Find a zombie (puppet)? Kill it!
With your spear, go into first person and aim (hold left click) your spear at the head.
Hitting the head of a puppet means an instant death.
Once the puppet is dead, search it for gear. Take its clothes for more inventory space.

Find an animal? Kill it!
Sneak up on the animal while crouching and get close enough to hit it with your spear.
Aim for the head, but this isn't as important as hitting the animal. Try to hit it twice.
Once the animal is hit, hold right click to see its blood and track it. Some animals go far.
If you find a bear, you'll need about 6 or 7 spears to kill it.
Warning: Animals WILL charge you if you get too close. This is painful.

Actually, make stone knife then make small stone axe, rope from wood, then you can have small improvised backpack from rags and keep some rags for patching wounds. Make bow and 3 bundles of arrows and two spears and you can hunt down any animal fast or you can take down lot of puppets around any base. Keep axe in backpack along with arrows.
