CONTROLS

, to use water

Normal mode
RSHIFT for engine
Left and Right to tilt wings (i reccomend flying with a slight tilt, otherwise the plane slowly pitches down)

RCTRL for VTOL engine
Left and Right to tilt wings
When transferring from VTOL to Normal mode, press RCTRL to disable VTOL engine, then quickly press RSHIFT to re-enable the normal engine
roll in VTOL mode is practically nonexistent.

Smells like some engineering skils.

I don't think I've seen a tilt-wing VTOL yet - it's certainly a unique flying experience! It's challenging but fun. BTW, if you rotate it 45 degrees and move it around just right, you can fit it in the bounding box.
Also, I've messed around with it, and I've noticed that with the wings up, the lift is in line with the center of mass, but not the center of drag, which is why it tips back when it builds upward speed. The craft is nose-heavy in flight, so additional lift i the front could work well for both takeoff and flight.
