Its subjective i personally dont like it one bit not even CLOSE to the best Rome 2 mod

It's the best Rome 2 mod doesn't mean = its the most perfect mod ever

DEI is def NOT the the best Rome 2 mod. While it does add some in-depth mechanics it does the same-thing as Original Rome 2, where it leaves most minor factions with basically nothing, but the Glazing on the video is kind of insane nothing wrong with enjoying somthing but "The best mod ive played in the last 5 years" its good but not that good.

I saw Angry Joe's review of Rome 2 way back when. Didn't have a PC and when I did, stayed off on principle. Seeing mods do these big transformations made me get it, deep sale. DEI is superb. If I had to bitch about something, is that it still has that artificial stuff sometimes. Strangling enemy economy and man power doesn't work like it did in my Rome 1 and Med 2.
Still put fat hours into DEI, dipped my toes into vanilla and flinched. Maybe the mod spoiled me

I like the detail in DEI, but yea Legendary difficulty kinda breaks the game. One thing I like is insane detail towards Armenia. In the Vanilla version, Armenia is portrayed as an "eastern" nation, with more of a Persian tech tree. In DEI, Armenia is portrayed as separate, and as an Armenian myself, I really appreciata all the effort put into reskinning and adding a new Armenia oriented tech tree. Enjoyed it.

Dei is still too easy and legendary just breaks the game, cant polish a turd i guess

I personally have no issue with the vanilla edition, but DEI sounds fun

Nothing can fix Rome 2. NOTHING. It is a crappy game.
