The Floor Is Lava - Co-Op Campaign Mutation

Beskrivelse
Don't stand in one place for too long!

The only Infected in this mutation are Spitters. The Spitters have double the normal health, move faster, and have no cooldown on their spit attack. And in case that's not enough, there can be up to eight Spitters at once, and the spawn timer has been removed.

Survivors have temporary health, and can only find pain pills to restore health. If you're incapacitated, you'll be black and white when you're revived. Taking pills will restore your vision and reset the incap count just as a medkit would. Your only defense against the Spitters are your Magnums; no other weapons will spawn.

If you can't take the heat, get out of the goo.

NOTES:
- As of June 4, 2014, thanks to the EMS update, this should no longer conflict with other mutations.
- UI text may be a little messed up in some places where the mutation name normally appears. If you find any such issues, let me know.
- Taking pills while black and white will restore your vision and reset the incap count, but you'll still hear the hearbeat. This is a glitch in the game, beyond my control.

i have a issue with the spitter spawn which doesnt spawn anything and i can just run for the chapter like nothing even if i stand still no spitter spawns and i proved it in No Mercy and even in Dark Carnival and i want to play with a friend but this issue leaves the campaigns as super lonely beta map

Stupidly frustrating yet super fun and enjoyable. Great mutation!

Also, I'm 100% sure it's impossible on Hard Rain lmfao. Chapter 2 elevator crescendo is brutal.

Let me know when you post them. I'll definitely take a look. If nothing else, the mutation's pretty good for magnum practice since that sucker is meta for Expert. It'll be fun to see you show off on that front.

Thanks for your response :) The issues are not gamebreaking luckily so it's not something to get sleepless nights from haha
I do hope that sometime you get to create a fix, if not with someone else. It'd be pretty cool to get to do The Sacrifice in its entirety or do Dead Air map4 legit q:
But either way, I'm not complaining. Thanks once more, and the video's sure are coming :) No Mercy took me hours to beat so mostly looking forward to putting that one out.

@Niels_L Hey there! Glad you enjoyed my little mutation. I’m not surprised there are some problems with it, mainly with scripted events like Tanks and hordes, but I can only chalk that up to my limited experience with coding mutations. I haven’t worked on any such endeavor in years so I’m rusty as all hell. There’s probably a fix, but I’d have to bust out my tools again and relearn it to make that happen. It’s simply not designed with scripted events in mind. I’m annoyed by it but can’t promise a fix anytime soon. That said, you deserve a medal for surviving all the campaigns on this mutation solo. I’d love to see a video of that one.

Completed all campaigns on solo expert without restarts :) Really fun mutation, even more so with friends.

Though there are a few bugs which have been described in the comments here already, but I still would like to summarize them:
- commons still spawn on the following maps during events:
* Blood Harvest, map 3 & 4 [c12m3_bridge & c12m4_barn]
* Cold Stream, map 1 [c13m1_alpinecreek]
* Dead Air, map 4 [c11m4_terminal]

The gate event on Dead Air map 4 is by far the worst one due to the amount of commons, making it extremely difficult to complete even on Easy.

Lastly, The Sacrifice seems to be impossible to complete due to the tank you need to kill in the first map to continue. Upon trying to open the second train cart door a message will display telling you to exterminate the tank first, but due to it not spawning this is impossible to do so.

But other than that, like I said, fun mutation which is definitely up there in my list of favorites.
