Once map packs are downloaded, where do you install them?

Hey bro, would you happen to know how to fix the desync issue when playing online with mods? Specifically, the Crossfire mod. My uncle and both have the map pack installed and everything setup accordingly, but mid game the error message comes up and we are never able to finish our games.

I thought there was a Map Limit (300~) to how many Maps could be read by the Game all in one go?
