ye also the head lamp is a thing so.... FUCK that im going to use this one or the one Ze Rock has made so i dont need to use my headgear slot

Sorry for the long absence, been working on other stuff IRL. For anyone subscribed to the conversation, there's an update in the works. Lantern itself will be reworked to be independant and chargable, so that it can be placed, and will try to get a Solar variant working. No promises on cable interaction, might need a little more research to get that working. Barring possible business with work, I'll be uploading SOME kind of updated version either today, or tomorrow. Again, sorry for disappearing.

That would be really cool, but I'm not sure how to make them need cables, I could look into the code. Another option would be to make a second version of the Lantern that requires a battery, but works (not sure how hard it would be to make it rechargable, either, would also need to look into that). I think I updated it, too, btw, if you want to check the Brightness again.

Say, what if we could place these on the ground like regular lanterns? They could be powered by cables, and allow the newgrounds tank to see stuff at night,.

I have to re-test it myself, but I can certainly re-brighten it. When I first tested it, it was as bright as the headlamp, and cost the same, but I since lowered the brightness, and increased the cost, I will probably end up going somewhere in between where it was and where it is. Definitely interested in fighting out what people thing it should cost, both in power units, and to craft.

Well it's a bit dark, but that could just be my own laptop as I seem to have this issue all the time in other games. Still, I think it's a good item that's a decent lightsource that doesn't require coal/oil. Anything specific you want me to say/test about it?
