I plan on making more guides in the future. I enjoy making them, and getting feedback from you guys.
If you have something i should make a guide about, feel free to pm me :)
Suggestions and tips from other users
By RobbyJR:
For Ride Height and Suspension Stiffness change it depending on how bumpy de kurbs are on the track, tracks like Russia and France the kurbs are very low and the track is very flat so make the car as low as possibe and very firm suspension. For tracks like Spain and Bahrain, lift the car up and give it a softer suspension to go over those high and bumpy kurbs.

Camber and toe, camber is simple, to min you have lower corner grip but better tyre wear, max is the opposite, so leave it at max in tracks like Monaco and Japan, min for tracks like Monza or Spa. Toe works exactly the same, max = corner responsiveness but more tyre wear, min = better tyre wear and more straight line stability so use max for again tracks with very quick side to side corners like Japan and min for tracks with long straights.

Downforce and Ballast I prefer to leave the Ballast at 6 and just work with downforce, it depends on driving style but if you do all the breaking before actually turning for the corner is better to leave it in the middle because thats the perfect balance.

Differential, on throttle just change it depending on the weather, dry from 85 to 100% and wet from 50 to 75%. Off throttle depends on the track, if the track has long high speed curves that you leave the car off thorttle for a while like France, China, Monza and Spa is better to lower it significantly, but if every corner in the track is short, low speed and you dont leave the car off thorttle very long like Monaco or Russia is better to increse it for better breaking and cornering.

@Wolfsun generally speaking it is the speed of the corners. If the corners all require very low gears you are working a low downforce track. Downforce is important on faster longer corners, much less important on shorter slower corners, where pure mechanical grip is doing the work.

It is also about how the lap plays out.. if your longest straight is preceeded by a low speed corner.. they you need every ounce of extra acceleration you can get ON the straight.. which also means less downforce.. but if that corner can be taken at higher speed and is longer, you'll get more time advantage going with more downforce since you can exit the corner faster and build on that speed advantage as you complete the straight.

All your laps should be predicated on maximizing corner exit speed, ESPECIALLY on the corners preceeding the 2-3 longest straights. Get those correct and you'll have better lap times.

I'm not the best explainer so I'll just leave you with this Wikipedia link :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Downforce

Low, medium and high, is just the amount of downforce :)
And welcome to the world of sim racing btw. Feel free to ask questions :D

Totally new to sim racing. What's the difference between a low, medium and high downforce track?

i`m a noob so thank you for making this

Excellent basic setup, I adjusted slightly for me :) But a great foundation

Ok, thanks

Hi. I have already done so. I have listed some example tracks right above each workshop link. Reason for only listing some is that it is completely individual

Hi, please could you list the circuits for each setting (Low, Medium and High Downforce)? Thank you

Thank you Victor, but this would be better explanation:
Camber and toe, camber is simple, to (-2.5) you have lower corner grip but better tyre wear,(-3.5) is the opposite, so leave it at (-3.5) in tracks like Monaco and Japan, (-2.5) for tracks like Monza or Spa. Toe works exactly the same, max = corner responsiveness but more tyre wear, min = better tyre wear and more straight line stability so use max for again tracks with very quick side to side corners like Japan and min for tracks with long straights.
