This Guide allows you to access and download your owned copy of Color Syndrome from the Steam Servers. If you dont own a copy of Color Syndrome on your Steam account you will not able to do follow this Guide! With the help of SteamDB[steamdb.info] which keeps track of any Game as long as there is and was available and has been released to the public we can gather all the Information we need to Fix our Download problem.

First we go to SteamDB[steamdb.info] and Search for Color Syndrome.

Then we Scroll down a bit and Click on the APPID[steamdb.info] [Also copy the APPID to Notepad for the last part in this Guide] (Alternativ Click on the Link in this Guide) of Color Syndrome. This will take you to the details page of Color Syndrome.

On the left side of the screen you'll find a submenu. There you will find the entry Depots[steamdb.info] (Alternativ Click on the Link in this Guide) click on it to optain a list about all available public files of Color Syndrome for any Operating System. Then we will find our entry for Windows under the Windows Depo[steamdb.info] [Also copy the ID of the Windows Depo to the Notepad for the last part in this Guide] (Alternativ Click on the Link in this Guide) click on it.

We have now the last part from what we need the Manifest ID of the latest Version of Color Syndrome also copy the Manifest ID to your Notepad. You can also Click on Manifests[steamdb.info] (Alternativ Click on the Link in this Guide) on the left side of the screen to optain a list with older Versions of Color Syndrome if you need.

Now we open Windows Run whit pressing "[WIN]+[R]" then we enter steam://nav/console and press "[RETURN]" or we click on "OK" with our mouse. You can also enter the steam://nav/console in any Browser you like. A launch application should pop up there. Then Select the Steam Client Bootstrapper and open the link from there. Everything of this will open the Hidden Steam Developer Console inside your Steam Client!

Inside the Hidden Steam Developer Console we make use of the following command "download_depot" to Download Color Syndrome.

The syntax for the command "download_depot" is as follows:


No need to worry we just need three parts which we already optaind from SteamDB[steamdb.info] to get the Download running.

1. The <appid> -> 485740[steamdb.info]
   
2. The <depotid> -> 485744[steamdb.info]
   
3. The <target manifestid> -> 2176260484796606538[steamdb.info]

Your final command for the latest Windows Version should look like this:


Now we enter the command in our Hidden Steam Developer Console like this:


After entering the command and sending it to the Steam Servers with pressing [RETURN] we are finaly able to download Color Syndrom from the Steam Servers.

After everything is download we need to go in our Bibliothek inside the Steam Client there we will search for Color Syndrome. After we found and selecet it we need to Install it so Steam think it is Installed and to create the needed empty directorys.

Now comes the last and final part in this Guide we have to copy or move all the files and directorys from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_485740\depot_485744 to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Color Syndrome.



Then you should now be able again to play Color Syndrome from your Bibliothek inside the Steam Client.
