Introduction
The term "roguelite" is a relatively new term, born out of traditional roguelikes and more contemporary genres. Since Spelunky, there has been an explosion of games in this domain, each with different philosophies of what a roguelite experience should entail.

And while there is no right/wrong philosophy, I've come to realize that this abstract term doesn't help identify which roguelite experience you're looking for - a game that lets you accomplish tangible goals that progress you in some meaningful way? Or something purer, where your skills are the only barrier to success?

This guide is a crowdsourced list of roguelite games, each attributed by selected features that help highlight these differences - your Rogue Legacy to your Spelunky.

NOTE: Some entries are blank, and some games might be missing - as a community, all contributions to help update and maintain this list are welcome! This wouldn't be possible without you!

As platformers, "Vertical Drop Heroes HD" is missing and maybe "Tristoy". Nice guide.
