Arctic Combat is a Free-to-Play MMO First Person Shooter set during World War III. Two Factions fighting over dwindling resources in the arctic circle: the Allied Forces(AF) - led by the United States and the Red Star Alliance(RSA) - led by Russia.

UPDATE: the game has been officially shutdown since September 2nd. it's been nice fighting along side and against you, catch you on the bounce

This idea for the guide is to help new players and returning veteran players(who are having a hard time keeping up with the latest content and updates)

this is broken down into different categories to help you understand how the game works and what can you expect in this game

Gameplay Basics:

The basis of Arctic Combat is to compete and play against thousands of other players online
Like any typical FPS game, you have your simple game mechanics like

Skills:
You have two types: Passive and Attack skill.

Passive skill:
1) Overcome crisis: Regenerates HP gradually when your HP is under 50%.

2) Plant/Defuse Kit: Reduces the time needed to plant/defuse bombs on Search & Destroy missions. Plant (-2 sec) / Defuse (-2 sec).

3) Detect Bomb: Detects planted bombs and displays their locations.

4) Enhance Health Pack: Increases the amount of HP recovered from health packs.

5) Quick Load (new skill): Reduces the time needed to reload weapons.

Spare Magazine(new skill):Start with an extra magazine for your main weapon and pistol

Attack:
1) RPG-7: The RPG-7 is powerful weapon that fires rockets to damage multiple targets.
It is particularly effective against choppers. Issued after a 4-kill streak.

2)Pin Point Bomb: Use a sighting device to call in an air strike on a small targeted area. Can be used efficiently to attack are as behind cover(Cannot be used indoors)

3) Sticky Grenade(new skill): When this Stick Grenade is thrown, it will attach to an object, make a sound,
and explode immediately. (Does not stick to people)

Game Modes:
Some of the game modes are pretty standard like in other FPS games but with some exclusive ones and sub-modes

1) Free-For-All:
Every Player is for themselves and must defeat all other players to win


2) Team Deathmatch:
Players divided into the AF and RSA, the factor that kills more opponents wins the match.


3) Search and Destory:
Players in the AF and RSA team fight against each other to attack and defend the bomb site.


4)Domination:
The AF and RSA fight to dominate key points on each location.
Dominate points faster with your teammates.


5)Demolition:
The AF and RSA battle each other to obtain the bomb first and attack the bomb site while the opposing team defends it


6)Annihation(a game mode that's like Last Man Standing except as a team-based type)
Divided into the AF and RSA, each factor must annihilate the opponent each round and win by reaching the target score.

Now, this game mode is not like the other ones, basically you start out with only your knife, no grenades or skill point.



7)Bot System: Consist of two types of Bot match, TDM and Domination


8)Defence Mode(new mode):

A survival type mode where 4 players must defend a nuclear reactor and survive all waves of aliens




Sub-modes:

1) Knife mode:
Only knives are allowed in this sub mode


2) Sniper mode:
Only sniper rifles are allowed in this sub mode


3) Rocket Mode:
Only Rocket Launchers are allowed in this sub mode.

Both the AF and RSA have full-body type character that will make you stand out from other players and give you a small extra EXP and Point boost.
