Beskrivning
the default is 30
but you can change that by going to the mod folder and run the ChangeValue.bat then it will ask you "how many starting Hearthlings do you want?" then type in any value and then reload the mod and when you start a new game the value you typed in will be the number of Hearthings you will start with.

wont actually work, since the person that has it always takes the steam version, and the steam version matches the uploaded version made by you. what does work is unsubscribing as joiner, and hitting the download all button (since then it just ignores the mismatch) but its not an ideal solution (little to no way around this)

you can set the value and then send it to the person your playing with so it will match.

Lowest amount of Hearthlings you can start with is 2, if you try to go for only 1, it errors out and you end up stuck placing an endless field of banners.

Would be pretty cool to add a window, a step, in the game creation properties before starting, in which then you could choose how many hearthlings you would want, instead of going in folders and files ;)
