Squad Units

Provided that the Assault Hounds guns are at full charge they are a formidable unit against most tower types

Note: If you find yourself in a sticky situation E.G surrounded by Chargers waiting to transform, you can continually morph your Assault hounds to Hell hounds and back, so they don't do any damage.



The Assault hound sacrifices damage and range for a high increase in armor, the hell hound is best suited for close range tower combat.

Note: Same applies for the hell hound you can morph back and forth to avoid popping the charger into a storm reaper (You wouldn't like storm reapers!! :D)


The Sledge Hammer is the longest range unit in the game that doe's damage (The hackers range is 150 BUT doesn’t damage units directly). The sledge hammer can only rotate its guns 30 degrees from straight a head so it is definitely not suited for close range 'Urban' combat.

Note: If you’re going for an early game rush as Squad your best change Is to come in straight with a line of sledge hammers imo.

The rocket hammer is the more mobile sledge hammer counterpart. Increasing damage but sacrificing armor and range.

Note: rocket hammer are very venerable so try and keep them out of the direct line of fire.

The Gripper guard slows enemy units around it simple but effective

The Gripper Guard is a supportive unit so it is difficult to say what this unit is an isn't strange against, I believe the Gripper Guard is most effective against fast moving towers like the predator.

Note: I haven't yet tested my theory but It the Gripper Guard slows tower kamikaze charging time, the Gripper would graduate to a league of its own.


The Shield Guard has been the saving grace to my squad many times; it generates a shield for units 2 in front and 2 behind it. If you are playing a 6 unit Squad this means one unit is left out so pick wisely.

Note: the reason the predator is so strong against the shield guard is it can pop its ability shield buster; this ability reduces or removes your shield (I also suspect it increases your venerability to incoming damage but I can’t prove this.) so effectively you have one unit that can’t attack and isn’t providing a shield.


The heavy support has the highest Squad armor rating (the highest armor rating go’s to the Devastator)

Note: The Heavy support is by far your best defense against the predator (Besides Ability’s like Decoy and E.M.P) upgrading the Heavy Support to tier 2 you will have a move fortress that can be repaired.

NON-ATTACKING UNIT
Note: Drone support when walking around, Heavy support when in combat... enough said.

In a nutshell the supply servant generates ability that you have chosen, the abilities are generated once you have destroyed enough units and 'fed' the supply servant as a result you can collect the abilities of the supply servant’s tray.

NONE ATTACKING UNIT

Note: The supply servant is only really useful if you plan on staying prolong times or a lot of time in combat opposed to just sniping towers.

Note: You go invisible as soon as enemy towers come in range, this can be a real pain if you stroll past a single enemy tower in the middle of no-where and it triggers. If you are going to try and stealth your way in make sure your route passes the least amount of towers.
Tower Units

The Blaster is the base Tower unit and definitely the cheapest costing only 5 car per tower. The Blaster as you can see is rather fragile and has low damage. But much like the zerg they have strength in numbers.
These units aren’t specifically strong against any unit imo hewer they drop like flies from cannon blasts.

Note: you can ambush unsuspecting squad by staring to build a lot of Blasters close as possible to the squad and then popping the harvester’s auto-build ability building them rite on top of an unsuspecting squad.


The scorcher melts squads like butter as long as a Decoy isn’t deployed in the other direction or you haven’t been E.M.P’d.

Note: try and deploy scorchers close to your primary tower (anomaly) so the squad has to been faced with it, also deploying a scorcher then popping the harvester auto-build can help however the scorcher has a delay aligning its bean cannon in the correct direction.

Note: If you are faced with slow attacking high damage units (What you don’t want) try deploying taunt on other towers whilst you heal the charger.

Note: Most of the time in my experience the squad will try and focus down the devastator as it’s an incredibly strong unit, so try and use Taunt on other towers and heal the devastator to keep the heat of so the devastator can pop some shock waves. The Devastator is the highest armor unit in the game.

Note: the enforcer was essentially built in order to defend against high damage units.



The predator was design to do high damage and force squad players to think twice about using the shield guard over raw armor.

Note: predators are expensive units however if you can get enough car there Is nothing more devastating than a predator ambush.



The behemoth is strong against all units and slows all units in its attack blast radius, the only down side to the behemoth is it takes up four squares (2x2) and it has a high cost.
Like the devastator squad players most of the time will try and focus down the behemoth so try and use taunt on other towers and heal the behemoth when possible.

Note: This unit has the longest reach in the game.



Some key-point not mentioned no matter how many harvesters you build only one can harvest at a time, the harvester has an auto-build ability double click on the harvester to use it. Using the auto build ability takes half the harvesters health. You cannot use the auto-build ability whilst harvesting from that specific harvester.

The Predator is so hard to deal with! I haven't found a combination that can efficiantly take them down.
