Tower Guide(my opinion)
  • CANNON is a basic tower. Building 15 CANNON(level1) is a good start. But upgrading it is not good Damage per Cost. So replacing it for FOCUS(level3) is recommended after you get enough resources.

  • LIGHTNING has highest Damage per Cost but shorter range. Level2 chains 1 additional target(maybe 50% damage), level3 chains 2 additional targets(maybe 50% and 25% damage).

  • FOCUS is the most reccommendable tower. It gets +25% damage buff every tic when it keeps same target(+125% after 2 sec, and accumulate more). Unlocked at level 15. Upgrading it makes it attack faster and accumulate damage buff faster, So upgrading is recommended. Most effective when placed around the core.

  • KAIROS slows movement speed and attack speed. Placing it around the core is recommended. KAIROS is not so dependable because of its slow attack speed. So SLOWING PRESENCE perk and numbers of damage output towers is better.

  • AMP amplifies damage of towers around it. But it needs at least 3 of level3 towers around it for making up for the cost.

Perk Recommendation
  • PHOENIX(you can revive even if hardcore is on)
  • SHOCKING REVELATION(this will keep core alive 40%+ longer = +40% time to shoot = equal to +40% dmg and +40% tower dmg while core is under attack, not stack with other players)
  • SLOWING PRESENCE(20% slow = 80% movement speed = +25% time to pass = equal to +25% dmg and +25% tower dmg, not stack with other slowing effect)
  • RESILIENT CORE(stack with other players)

  • HOLLOWPOINT ROUNDS(average +33% dmg, actually about +25% with dmg buff of the character)
  • EXPOSURE ROUNDS(good for multiplay)
  • MARKSMAN(good against soaker and bubble head and so on)


Character Guide
  • SKYE AUTUMN(about +80% damage while shooting consecutively. average about +40% damage)
  • SWEET AUTUMN(about +25% DoT damage)
  • SIMO(weakspot version of SKYE AUTUMN. difficult to maintain, but high damage against soaker and bubble head and so on.)
  • HAIGEN HAWKINS(about +35% damage within 2 blocks)


Character Recommendation
  • SKYE AUTUMN (good for DPS if hardcore is off)
    Weapon: Assault, Tesla(Shotgun from L20)
    Perk: SHOCKING REVELATION, SLOWING PRESENCE, EXPOSURE ROUNDS
  • HAIGEN HAWKINS (good for hardcore, kiting patriarch, body blocking at the core with PHOENIX with his +66% HP.)
    Weapon: Shotgun, Tesla(Assault from L20)
    Perk: SHOCKING REVELATION, SLOWING PRESENCE, PHOENIX
  • SIMO (good DPS at the last map, shooting from the cliff)
    Weapon: Sniper, Tesla(Assault from L20)
    Perk: HOLLOWPOINT ROUNDS, EXPOSURE ROUNDS, MARKSMAN

-Tesla is good for sniper, as because the high fire rate, you gain a lot weakspot stacks. Anyway i would recommed the MP/SMG more.
-Focus deals more damage as well as shoot faster. In the new Official forum are exact numbers.
-Amp doesn't stack, right. Slow perks doesn't stack too

I would not recomm to spam Cannon. You forget the range increase, this can make the DPG (Damage per Game)higher, because it stays in the range instead of not fireing, if you look at the whole game time.

the drone dps is wrong becuse the firing speed is just how fast the tower deploys drones not how fast drones shoot

Thanks for sharing this. I'll contribute some constructive criticism / extra info.

-About half of these values are out of date due to patches.
-Your 'DPS' value is actually damage per minute (no impact on anything, just semantics really)
-No sweet build? Sweet is the most op character with well-chosen perks
-Drones are excellent towers, they are the only tower that can kill bobbleheads and hoverers reliably. Focus has the best dps by far when sped up, but can't touch 'hard' armor
-Assault is ineffective against armored heavies and the super heavy. Tesla has the high rate of fire for bobbleheads/soakers, attacks an area which is great against runners and pups, plus the high damage secondary against armored targets
-Tesla primary's short-medium range makes me doubt its suitability for Simo. I'd recommend a battle rifle, a rex, or something that is useful at long ranges
-Are you sure Focus attacks faster over time? Also, the damage caps at +400% (5x)
-Multiple amp spires do NOT stack.

no sweet reccomendation? her passive scales twice with damage perks, and is the "theoretical" end game champ who should "theoretically" be the one that handles debuff perks as her passive increases their duration after initial application (burn refreshes)

While I don't side with your perk list, it's good to know that Skye with a shotgun can outshoot Haigen.

As to the Drones, they get sent out at the same rate an ACP would attack, THEN attack at the listed damage (per drone, per second, might be tripled at level 3 due to 3 drones) for 15 seconds. Their best use is paired with a Scatter against Bobbles.

@Forevermuffins: Scatter won't get stuck on targets like Bobble-heads, so it's more AFK friendly.

Drone is not bad. But it doesn't seem fully working(it attacks now and then). So I prefer FOCUS which high damage is good against heavy armor.
