It is ILS equipt, it is not a hard landing just the "Parking Brake" that I use to simulate the "max. autobrake" also it has throttle hold. but does not have autobrake in fsx and not sure irl.

The way you decribe it is the way I have always done my landings when doing ILS/IMC. Just decided to go all the way auto and it works like a charm! :steamhappy:

Wow! I didn't know that was possible. I knew you could approach on auto-pilot locked to the ILS but I thought you had to turn it off just before landing and finish it off manually.
