East Coast Mainline (IND)

解説
The full ECML from London to Edinburgh, including the branches to Kings Lynn, Leeds, Bradford, Skipton, Harrogate, Hull, & Sunderland. The extension to Aberdeen and the highland mainline is included. This version includes random industry. The original heightmap is from ashs Penzance to Thurso map, I have added more rivers. Experimental map sizes required.

This sounds like a problem with the game, rather than the map. Bear in mind this map was designed for passenger use, rather than the normal play style of transport fever.

cant seem to get industries to work... after a few years they drop to about 50 units, no matter what I connect to... but passengers seem to explode??? any ideas??

The Woodhead route does sound like a possibility but there is already a TransPennine route on the workshop.

Could you do a peak district rail line? There are multiple including the old Woodhead line, Hope Valley line, and others. Thanks

If you edit the map file in folder 1463670206 by commenting out the "industries = industries" (last Line) you will get the industry you want. You can do this with any map file to add random industry.

I have considered this - it will make for a good map one day but I am starting off with all the major mainlines (ECML, WCML, GWR) etc, then maybe I will move to the southern region. Main problem with Southeastern is there is no real "Mainline", it's more of a mesh of lines. But HS1 does sound like it will make a good map.
