Space Gate Exploration

Beskrivelse
This is a simple exploration/encounter mod and it only adds space gates. That's it. A small reactor, gyro, thrusters, a few lights and a bit of armor.

Spawn Rate
At the moment the spawn rate is the same as all encounters, which isn't very frequent at all especially on low density asteroids. I'm considering inceasing the rate slightly but want to get a feel for it first.

TIP: If a gate spawns in it'll show up on your DHD list.

how in hell do i use the gates? i am trying to place one in creative, but i cant activate it.

@Fatsack Any gate can go to any other gate that has already spawned into the game.

@Racavi I'll need to check if Keen's "updated" anything, if not then it should be working normally.

Derelict spawn rate is based off asteroid density and you need to have derelicts enable in the game options. So if you have low density asteroids then it is less likely a derelict will spawn. They're usually extremely hard to find without a radar/scanner mod.

k, fair enough....one other thing though. I have yet to see a gate pop up in my worlds, any suggestions or is it just down atm?

@Racavi No, planets can't be spawned in using the derelicts/exploration mode. As far as I know Creative is the only way to spawn planets.

That said I have attempted a seeded world that would have planets and bases with an open sort of story. The updates kept breaking it though.

i have a question...or request rather........could u do the same thing with planets as u did with the gates? would give a new feel to the infinate universe.
